He also didn't "Allegedly" spend years in jail either for serious assault.

We are going to have to write him off gentlemen. The "Innocent until proven guilty" campaigners are clearly avoiding the essential point that this sort of example is exactly what we DON'T want around our young recruits and to drag our whole pre season through the mud.

Anyone who was 100% committed to their second chance would never get themselves into situations that Yarran has found himself in. Clearly he does not have us as his top priority. That means that it is time to go.

So, Dockerland1, have you stopped beating your wife yet?

Innocent until proven guilty is a good principle. If you don't like it, you are the campaigner.

I've said this before, but what the hell I'll say it again.

The bloke has a contract with FFC. There will be circumstances under which that contract can be terminated. Being CHARGED will NOT be one of those circumstances. If your employer sacked you on the basis of being charged with a serious offence would you just accept that? Also bear in mind that if FFC were to terminate his contract now, AFLPA would rip us a new one.

IF he is found guilty of a serious offence the club would almost certainly cut him and rightly so. In the meantime the club will have to wait for the judicial process to run its course the same as everyone else.

Well Clem's knee, you obviously don't know me or my wife. Disgusting of you to say such a thing about someone that you don't know.

Jesus Christ, what a scumbag you are. This is not about me, this is about a player who has been convicted and jailed previously who is in trouble again.

To say what you have just said is as low an act as you can make.

Retract your statement or you will be dealing with a law suit.

You are privy to the terms and conditions on Yarran's contract are you? Freo would / could have had behavioural conditions written into it for just a situation like this.

For the record we need him badly but do you seriously see this getting better?

Jesus Christ, what a scumbag you are.

I think you'll find the law is comfortable with taking the piss out of one dimensional opinion and you've also gone hook, line, sinker, rod, reel and dinghy for and oldy.
Confirmed as a Goldie.
Are your children still gambling??
Is the young'en off crack??
You have friends here don't forget we're here to help.

A loaded question or complex question fallacy is a question that contains a controversial or unjustified assumption (e.g., a presumption of guilt).

So, in the English language...ah forget it...

Lach72, I know you are a reasonable guy. I was discussing a point then this idiot slandered me like that. How would you react?
I was the one discussing the point in thread!

Like everything in life. The representation that you engage can and frequently will effect the outcome.

P.S. Might want to read up on current laws regarding such issues in social media.

Whether we need him badly is completely irrelevant. He hasn't been found guilty of the new charges yet despite what you might think of his character. It's way too late to terminate him based on the matters he was convicted of post being recruited. If the club was to terminate him now they would be opening themselves up to legal action for wrongful dismissal.

Pretty simple I would have thought.

This post, along with the even more abusive private message I received, indicates that you have missed the point of my post.
I thought I made it pretty clear that an accusation is not the same as a conviction. I used the old question, which is impossible to answer without implicating yourself (that is the joke) to show why and how we should wait for a legal decision before we pronounce condemnation on Yarran, or anyone else.

I didn't make a statement to retract, so it's hard to retract it. I asked a question.

And I thought actually beating your wife would be a lower act than asking that question of someone, or even of accusing them of it.

You have to be a pretty big dickhead to post something this.
Sigh.. and you have to be pretty stupid to not understand.

I feogot you cannot question abyone associated with club on here anymore.

Jesus Christ.

Let me spell it out for you...

He used a deliberately offensive statement and insinuation to emphasise the importance of presumption of innocence in the eyes of the law.
You're a fine upstanding member of the community. you get the benefit of the doubt in the eyes of the law. Shane may not be but he should be entitled to the same.

Might just stop reading your posts.
The board is awash with wuckfits perhaps it's always been the case?

PS:Are your children still gambling??
Is the young'en off crack??
I'm assuming you've stopped belting the bride.

Apologise now Clem's Knee and I will accept that your insane statement was an attempt to make a point.

DockerLand1 And just to be clear. I had no idea that you were married, and I have no interest in ever meeting you to find out how you treat other people. I was responding to your post, so I felt that my post was on topic.
If the question had no context and no explaining sentence just below the question, I would have more sympathy for your outrage.
It's okay. When you calm down, have another read and then stop threatening me.

Edit:
Just read your last post. Are we okay now?
