If you take us in this direction Bucks.......make sure it happens....otherwise it will be over before you know it (just ask Vossy)....the natives will be restless....if you dismantle a premiership winning team & replace it with a bunch of kids who cannot deliver.
It was a premiership winning team three years ago. Times change. Do you think the 2008 Hawks side is the same one running out on Saturday?

The problem is right or wrong Bucks has to back in Max to set the "team" example. Keeping Shaw and retiring Max is the logical call based on age and talent however buck's has made his stance on the matter clear.
I fail to see Buck's taking a backwards step.

Happy for you to take a shot at me but where have I stated Bucks is Pig headed?

I don't appreciate being misquoted.
You stated - "I fail to see Buck's taking a backwards step" - after stating that the logical choice was to move on Maxwell and allow Shaw to set the team example, but Buckley was not going to take a backward step. Not happy to back down even though in your opinion it was the logical thing to do.

What did you mean if not that?

Anyone else think we will be lucky to get pick 20 for him? Hopefully GC and GWS get into a bidding war, but i doubt it. Love him to stay personally, at least for his footy skills.
I think they might be more inclined to part with a player picked as a first rounder who they suspect they will lose to the go-home factor anyway.

Wellingham at 18 or so?

If it's not around that mark then forget it.

I think it all depends on what the actual hell is going on behind the scenes.

If it is a case of "do the right deal", then that's what will happen. In which case, frankly, I think no deal is the most likely outcome. It will be a hard task to find a club he wants to go to, that will pay at least enough, and offers us a god pick as well.

If it is a case of "You are part of the problem" then it will be salvage time. The critical factor there will be dollars before draft pick, because getting a deal acceptable to Heath and one where we dont end up having to meet some of his contract for the next two years will come into play and probably end up with him not going to the team that offers the best draft pick to us.

Just do not know what is going on, except the feeling I've had of bad juju in the background all year, and the nagging feeling of a team not pulling in the same direction is smelling stronger.

Not talking just people who do or dont get along great with the coach; I'm talking active cross purposes, cliques, etc.

If Heater is unloaded at fire sale prices, it would be another strong indicator not all has been well.

The circus just keeps rolling. The opposition must be dying of laughter atm. Our once proud club has become a laughing stock. Players leaving left, right and centre, staff jumping ship like its the Titanic etc.

Thing not only have gone from to bad to worse they are now going from worse to disgraceful. The guy cant coach, has no man managment skills and is systematically dismantling our once great club.

Add to that Geoff Walsh's departure.

I know facebook sources are a load of rubbish. But if we sign Jesse White anyone on the waiting list for a legends membership there will be one vacancy.

That Bucks in cohesion with the clubs brains trust are sticking by their guns and culling/ moving on players that do not conform to the team ethos as stated after the Port loss.
I agree with the above comment. Nothing wrong or illogical about the clubs approach in my opinion.

P.S. Wasn't having a go at you in my original post just disagreed with you.

On what he said Shaw is gone. Along the lines that at times relationships come to an end and that Heath should have been under no illusions about expectations of him.

So lets not overestimate what pick or trade value we are getting then...it is firesale time.

And I repeat, something has not been right at the club all year, its been there in games for all to see at times.

For better or worse, the purge is on.

FIFO.

Please tell me which players have left so far?

Shaw leaving means another Bucks bashing exercise for many.

Neutral pundits and commentators take a much more balanced view that those who do not tow the direction which the coach wants the team to head down will be left behind or jettisoned.

Shaw's departure will be the final proof that he represents the proverbial tail that wagged the dog at Collingwood in recent years.
