Pretty sad this guy has been named AA the same amount of times as Adem Yze and Jeff WHite

He is right.

Essendon are no longer the top 8 team they have been over the past few years, and now seem destined to a few years languishing at the bottom end of the table.

If any team needs a few top first round draft picks, it is Essendon.

If McPhee didn't deserve to get an AA spot on the HBF last year, who else would you have instead? I for one thought Darren Milburn was unlucky, but there's a lot players in the same boat such as Michael Wilson, Nathan Brown etc. who could have easily been named also.

Its interesting that the Pies have all the injuries - but our injuries are ignored.

We, too, dont have a legit senior ruckman. Hille may not play this year. Allan may not play again! Laycock has just played. Cartledge is a child.
Hirdy is on borrowed time.
Our AA backman in McPhee is riddled with OP
Ravioli hasnt played.
Watson is injured... again.
Solly and Welsh mightnt come up for the game.
Ramanauskas is out for the year
We have Henneman in the side - you dont! We also have a lot of passengers - ie Stupido.
Reynolds is also injured - but he hasnt done anything yet to be included on this list. If I were to include I'd just get shot down.
Oh, and then there's Murphy....

So really, we may be going into this game in a worse condition than the Pies. Our kids have hardly played in the same team before - so theyre all learning the plays, traits, etc. At least the Pies are established - even if it includes Williams and the Clokes.

PS. I love how everyone is including Richards as an important player. If that was the case I'd be including Courtney Johns.

I find it deeply offensive that you would attempt to equate the loss of Buckley, Rocca, Fraser and Didak with the like of Hille (ffs), Rama, Fatguts & Watson (pmsl)

If McPhee is "riddled" what's he doing out there. same with Hird. Get real.

Don't write them off just yet. What is wrong with you people? One win to Hawthorn and your on their bandwagon. A couple of losses to Essendon are doomed. THeir on the same win/loss ratio as Brisbane but you haven't given up on them. The Bombers may not be the best side in the comp, they may not make finals, but they WILL NOT win the wooden spoon. That's right ladies and gentleman, you heard it here first!

if we are to call richards an important player, you can call courtney johns one.

ok. in that case.
since you are calling watson an important player, we'll have tom davidson.

and heres the ice breaker. we have leon davis injured.

lets be honest, we won't have a winner on anzac day. we will have a loser.
we're both looking into some dark days, may as well hold hands and embrace it together instead of argueing about whose bad players are the most injured.

lets go watch some TAC games this weekend and talk about who we will recruit.

Mate that's more about the coach, who is a , than the playing list. I've said it before and I'll say it again we have the best list in the AFL bar none. Just compare any team to ours!
