Vic vs NSW will be interesting, especially if we have patto_man, Wade C-Mac and Dussey back. In turn if they have Watson, Clarke and Warner back as well. If not, our bowling should account for their batsmen comfortably IMO.

Hows that? You still need to beat WA outright, yet now we have the real possibility of 4 teams finishing on 36 points. I would have thought Tassie were better off with less teams fighting for the spot
What are the tie breakers in Shield cricket? I belive 1st is outright wins hence QLD holding 2nd spot now, but whats next?

First is quotient, actually, followed by outrights, then runs scored I think

Qld could be the team that at greatest risk of having their game ruined by the weather, depending on the system building near Fraser Island at the moment.
Hope if Australia wins tonight we get McKay and Patto back, Patto needs a first class game before the Windies tour and McKay has been well rested

Any way you look at it, the final will be decided in Tasmania, win, lose or draw in that game will decide who hosts the final. Ponting back for them could win them the game, in fantastic FC/test form
