The training reports from today appear to confirm the player who was jogging well ahead of schedule. Sometimes Shhhhh knows things before the club does

The forgotten men

Milne had a hot spot in his foot over the summer. Should return next week. Not the skinny lad anymore.

Tuck had knee problems over the summer, then develpoed a foot injury. Has now recovered - should be back in two weeks.

Re: Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Expect good news concerning ink being committed to paper by two of Hawthorn's biggest stars in the near future. Shhhhh now.

Depending on his jaw, Burgoyne is a good chance to play against West Coast, or failing that the following week at the latest. No more Box Hill games. His knees and hammys are fine.

Look for Shoey to take stints in the ruck. Quick ball movement to Franklin and Roughy. Players were told some home truths on Monday. Everybody feeling the pressure - on and off field. Group is very disappointed in their performance thus far.

You read it first here a week ago.

Four very likely inclusions at this point: Franklin, Mitchell, Burgoyne and Hooper. Skipper played 50 mins at BHH, and he is a chance to get a gig too. Planning might change as the week goes on, but that's the thinking at this stage.

Please let this be correct weight .......... if Skipper is only on the field for 7minutes a quarter to rest twister then this in itself allows other players to maintain correct positions - a major bonus.

Would Bruest got a chance of coming in the near future?

A prized recruit will carry on a fine Hawthorn tradition this Saturday.

Well we play on Sunday so methinks it's something off-field. Jumper presented to Burgoyne?

I honestly wouldn't bother with Skipper for this game, its the one where we probably don't need him. Richmonds ruck combo of Vickery and Graham is hardly imposing and they don't really have an overly tall forward line, Shoey rucking for a bit each quarter giving us an extra spot for another mid is probably better.
