Ins: Bateman, Schoey & Shiels
Outs: Franklin, Brown & Hooper

Some doubt over Ellis, but should play. Schoey to take Buddy's place up forward.

Campbell's knee. His knee might not be as severe as first thought, chance to return a couple of weeks earlier than first thought.

Some injury updates.

Gibson is doing a power of work and looks right to go after the split round, so vs Bulldogs, straight in.

Young is a corky not a quad strain or tear, could have played this week, has been rested.

Taylor lifting the work rate will return 4-6 weeks

Some more injury news:

Rhan could be a month off. He is very highly rated and no chances will be taken with him.

Liam copped a corky vs Port. He was hit in the same spot during match practice last week. Should be right to go this week.

Campbell also likely to return vs Bulldogs.

NSW scholarship player Trent Stubbs has sustained a break in his leg - out for season.

Terrible news for Trent - all the best for a full recovery.

Interesting about no chances being taken with Rhan - I would of thought this same attitude would be the one taken with all players returning from injury. Personally I would rather the extra week or 2 be taken regardless of how needed they are so that we don't have the situation that has occurred with Rhan happening again.

Can you supply a little more detail with Trent Stubbs, how bad is the break and would it stop us from picking him up with with our two picks?

Hodge's chances of playing are improving by the minute, recovering better than anticipated and very strong chance to play.

On Sunday, Hodge was extremely unlikely, however, is 100% up since then and should be right. But a cautious approach might be adopted.

Nice thread you have here on the Hawks board.:thumbsu:
Judd>Hodge

Many thanks

We used to have a "Bayer" over here. Real prick. You seem nice though. ;)

Apparently, all VFL finals this weekend will be played at Box Hill City Oval. Therefore, the Box Hill 2nds will play the Grand Final on the Saturday vs Williamstown 2nds as the curtain raiser to the Prelim between Williamstown and Northern Bullants. That means Box Hill seniors will play North Ballarat on Sunday in the other Prelim.

Hi all this weeks prelim. final v Nth. Ballarat will be played at Box Hill. Please pass this message around to make sure that the word spreads like wildfire.

VFL development squad GRAND FINAL Box Hill v Williamstown 11am SATURDAY Box Hill city oval.

Sunday, Box Hill v Nth. Ballarat 2pm Box Hill city oval.

The Gold Coast announcement is not Campbell Brown. Expect Rischitelli to be wheeled out for the cameras. Don't get false hope re Campbell, but it's not his turn tomorrow.
