As opposed to Adelaide, who develop decent players only for them to leave at the first opportunity.No. You just take great players and turn them into spuds.

Salary cap means we wouldn’t keep them all anyway, too good at developing and identifying talent. Equalisation means talent needs to be spread around the competition. As opposed to Adelaide, who develop decent players only for them to leave at the first opportunity.
Don’t put Crouch into your argument.I'm not hanging shit on Adelaide FC, but you guys are losing more of your fair share of good talent though, more than you would if it was just salary cap. The club is definitely great at developing talent, but you've lost Cameron, Lever, now McGovern and possibly Crouch, within two trade periods. That's a lot of pressure to get those young kids up and running in a short period of time.

Equalisation...you haven't won a premiership for almost as long as us...Salary cap means we wouldn’t keep them all anyway, too good at developing and identifying talent. Equalisation means talent needs to be spread around the competition.
Adelaide will replace McGovern with another gun youngster, Carlton will continue to turn gun youngsters into ok players.
We’ve won close to twice as many games though and made a GF.Equalisation...you haven't won a premiership for almost as long as us...
We’ve won close to twice as many games though and made a GF.
What a waste of time. We’ve won close to twice as many games though and made a GF.
What a waste of time.
So you're saying Adelaide's priority is to grow membership over winning premierships? No it's not a waste of time. It drives all the areas that a club needs to grow membership, revenues, merchandise and general engagement.
There's a reason no one wants to watch Carlton play on a Friday night.
The two aren't mutually exclusive numskull. So you're saying Adelaide's priority is to grow membership over winning premierships?

Seems weird that our two clubs are pretty close when it comes to memberships and attendance then. The two aren't mutually exclusive numskull.
Well, that’s a lie.Seems weird that our two clubs are pretty close when it comes to memberships and attendance then.
Not really...Well, that’s a lie.
An AFL insider has just told me that SOS and Shiel have a gentleman's agreement, SOS has told Shiel he will do "whatever it takes" to win his services, if that means pick 1 so be it, ( which will go to the crows ) but SOS wants 'something else in return'. Shiel is just pretending to shop around to buy some time for the deal to be finalised.
Shiel has NO intention of playing for any other Victorian club than Carlton.
Seems weird that our two clubs are pretty close when it comes to memberships and attendance then.
Shiel will nominate the Blues tomorrow or Thursday.
Mate, you are trolling.* Update Hawks officially told thanks, but no thanks this morning.
