I ask this respectfully, if what you say is correct (which has always been my understanding by the way) then where do these people get their motivation in your opinion? Are they just pure nutters?

This is the golden question that I have been waiting for and I have the answer to this.

You see, there are things that many are unaware of about the Muslim community that I would like to shed light on. To start, I want to mention that not everyone that claims that they are Muslim is defined as such according to the Islamic Rules. They may wear the headscarf, appear to be praying etc. but are not actually Muslim. And I have come across many like that.

The Muslims have actually divided into 73 sects over the years. The majority of them are actually on the true Islam. But the problem stems from some of the present-day sects. One of the sects in particular has been known to the true Muslims for 300 years (which is when they emerged), for their terrorising. They are called the Wahhaabiyys by us. Their belief in God and practices are significantly different to ours, to the extent that we do not consider them Muslims and rather as non-Muslims.

A lot of people are ignorant in the Islamic Knowledge nowadays, be it non-Muslim or Muslim. Hence, the ignorant Muslims may take these guys as one of their leaders just because they appearance is shaped like what an Imam (Islamic leader) would look like, and appoint them as head of their mosque. From there, they corrupt them and make them believe that they are allowed to steal, kill, suicide bomb and many other things. They provide misinterpretations of Islamic texts such as the Qur'aan, and fabricated and untrue sayings of the Prophet as evidence for their claim. How would an ignorant person in the Islamic Knowledge be able to distinguish them from the authentic ones? The catch here is that they claim that they are Sunni Muslims because they know that the Sunnis are following the true Islam. If the ignorant people hear them say this (and when we use the term "ignorant" we don't use it as an insult, just as unaware), they will instantly follow them without knowing that they are lying. Hence, the brainwashing begins. This leads them to go do crazy things, and true Muslims are their #1 victims, because they believe that the blood of the true Muslim is lawful to them (meaning that they are permitted to kill us). This is why many Muslims have been wiped out in present-day Saudi.

Unfortunately, many people are unaware of these people and take their word when they say that they are Muslims. We are accused of their actions as a result even though they have a completely different belief to us in God, and completely different customs.

To answer your question in a summarised way, people have taken liars as their leaders and are told that they are permitted to do these crazy things and encourage them to do it. But have you ever seen any of their leaders do those things? No. They preserve their own life and comfort while destroying those around them. When they are destroyed, they move on to the next group of youth and brainwash them.
