I know they're probably not ready. But why don't we just aternate Vickery and Graham for the rest of the year. Sure they'll get molested, but at least they're learning how to ruck at AFL standard.
Every game that Simmonds plays is just a waste of time. We're not going to make finals, so let's start looking to next year, or even the year after that.
It's just wait and see/ deal with it later attitudes down at the club. Terry isn't making the right decisions, he's making short term decisions so he can keep his job.

Our options:

Graham - injured. we need him back badly!

Vickery - physically not ready to play ruck. Do we really want the kid to get pummelled and have his confidence smashed to bits.

Polak - used to be a ruck option...apparently played ok in the ruck the the vfl reserves, maybe in a few weeks he will have the confidence to pinch hit? Probably not likely.

Pattison - We really need him to step up and AT THE VERY LEAST play like he did in 2007. 15 disposals and 15 hit outs per game minimum form here on, right now he is dishing up very average performances even for a second ruckman (10 disposal 9 hit out level...not good enough, also 13 goals in 56 games from a ruckman come CHF...WTF??). He has been with us for 5 seasons now! He has had 4.5 preseasons. He has developed physically. NOW IS THE TIME PATTO!

Browne - has something...but probably wont be able to utilise it week in week out for another 2-3 years. Needs to get fitter and stronger but to be honest he is a better option than vickery right now because he has about 15kgs on him.

no handing out games they have to work for them. if he strings a few good games together then he can come up but i dont want to give him a game because he might become a star and is young.
