Only 8 metres narrower than Adelaide Oval. Do they stop playing games there as well or is your sooking only one-way?

lol 8 meters is a substanstial difference....

So the MCG is 148 metres wide, why are they still playing games at Adelaide Oval when it is only 123 metres wide?

lol 25 metres is a substantial difference....
That doesn't fit his/her poorly though out agenda

and 115 is even worse... don't make false equivalencies... your ground is happy meal sized... it doesn't require you being a McRager meal with sweet and salty sauce tho.

p.s I'm sure if Adelaide had to option to play on the MCG due to it being down the street they would... they wouldn't be sooking it up as half as bad as you whingers are doing.

I remember in 2010 when Collingwood, as the highest ranked team, played a prelim v.'s Geelong (who had lost an earlier final against St Kilda) at the MCG. Something like 97,000 turned up. Now the crowd was overwhelmingly Collingwood. If the stadium could fit 150,000, I reckon the pies could have filled it, such is their support. There were also 20-30,000 Geelong supporters there that night. But you didn't hear Collingwood supporters whinging about 'no home ground advantage', or demanding a lock-out of Geelong supporters.

So what is the actual point between acceptable and 'happy meal size'

???

Maybe because it was at their home ground?

Lol who's sooking? I just don't think it's good enough for AFL games. This thread if full of geelong supporters sooking.

115m v 124m. AO nearly 10% wider. Pockets at KP are non-existent

well its simple, play on an adults sized ground when you have a completely viable option to do so... don't look for the cheap edge (which I know as Geelong you need) all the time.

So really you've just drawn the line at an arbitrary number that suits your agenda, cute.

Good luck to the Hawfies in the finals by the way. :D:thumbsu:

Can't believe the bleating. Geelong finished half a game ahead of Richmond and with a worse percentage. One point the other way and it'd be a Richmond home final. Do they really deserve the massive advantage that SS gives them come finals time because of one solitary point? Oh well, the rules say the team that finishes above the other gets a home State final I guess, if we want to go with the rules...

If Geelong want to play finals at Simonds, they should play ALL their home games at Simonds in the H&A. Even the games where they get 60K to the G against the big drawing teams, they can get their 34K into their home stadium and lose a butt ton of money

They don't get to pick and choose when they play at Simonds and then not be happy about it when the AFL picks for them for finals

haha you're the ones who are going to need it, sooking this much just to try and play on your auskick sized patch of grass....
