Wonder if he got told he wasn't getting a new contract for next year so he just decided to pull up stumps early
Gov officially shut down which is an obvious call.
Couldn’t agree more. Not really sure where to post this, but it seems the obvious place:
Soft cap going up $500k in 2023 and $250k in 2024. We absolutely must spend at least some of that (other than the mandated) on improved medical and S&C staff.
Can they just bite the bullet it and return it to pre-covid levels? They are only holding it back as a couple of povvo clubs can't afford to pay the full amount. Hell, I'm sure the rich clubs would agree to make up the difference from their end of the AFL distributions. Not really sure where to post this, but it seems the obvious place:

I think that's part of the idea of partnering with universities. Lean on their grad students to cover some of the S&C roles.Hire a shitload of actual doctors, strength and conditioning guys, an entire hospital etc, set up our own university and give them all psych degrees so it can all come outside of the cap.
It's what a real powerhouse club would do.

mmm a grad looking after Nic. What could go wrong? If true, seems to be working out well for us.
Not
I’d have real concerns about the competency of the uni team. Uni is but a first step in developing expertise. Fock I didn’t start real learning until after I’d finished uni.

I've got no probs with the soft cap but the tax is ridiculous. Can they just bite the bullet it and return it to pre-covid levels?
