FTA-TV Smartest Doctor on TV - ever?

Tough question I have long pondered. I'm going for Dr Who due to his varied experiences across the universe, although I'm not sure how he would perform in an operating theatre.

To pre-empt a number of you who are bound to ask, I left Doogie Howser MD off the list intentionally despite the fact that he was known to be a 'boy-genius' and have an IQ off the scale, as he didn't have the street smarts to make this list, and he knew virtually nothing about women.

Fair call. I have been impressed by some of his diagnosis on Celebrity Rehab. Probably a bit smarter than Dr 90210.
