Just 24 hours after announcing Steadfast as the club's new Principal Partner and Front of Shirt sponsor, the Roar revealed striking home and away kits featuring a number of innovations. These include:

• A "We are Qld" badge on the back of the jersey.

• A new white keylined font for players names and numbers.

• A star atop the club emblem, as introduced by Football Federation Australia earlier this year, with the No.3 to indicate the club's three Hyundai A-League Championships (2011, 2012, 2014)

The new home kit is predominantly orange with black trim, black shorts with orange trim and orange socks.

Keepers will wear either all blue or all green, both with subtle horizontal lighter-tone shading bands.

A Westfield FFA Cup-version of the new kit will be worn tonight when Brisbane Roar take on Western Sydney Wanderers in a Round of 32 Cup tie in Penrith (Kick off: 7.30pm. Telecast on Fox Sports Channel 505).

The club's away kit will be all white with thin black pinstripes.

The alternative kit is gun-metal grey with two central vertical darker-tone shading lines. It will be worn in any future FFA Cup ties if the Roar advance from the Round of 32.

In addition to Steadfast, the kits will carry the branding of club sponsors including Pauls, Hahn Super Dry and Pro Sports Group.

The new kits are expected to be available in selected retail outlets closer to the Roar's opening game of the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season against Western Sydney Wanderers at Pirtek Stadium on Thursday, 8 October.

The charcoal kit looks stupid with the massive break for a sponsor and only a thin sponsor

Yep, that was definitely designed when The Coffee Club were still sponsors and they haven't been arsed changing the actual design

Im not the slimmest guy going but these kits are quite the big fit. Could have easily fit nicely into an XL, but I prefer the baggier feel so I went for 2X. Just some info if you plan on ordering online.

Also would be great if they eventually started sub laminating the sponsor logo on similar to the Adelaide United kit. Just have to be extra careful when washing so it doesnt start to peel off.

Wash inside out, cold. I still have Kits more than 10 years old in good nick because of this.

I have recently been in Manchester, went to the game on the weekend, and have noticed the kits sold in the UK are made in Vietnam, the ones in Australia, Thailand, dunno if it makes a difference, they look the same.

Thank god the sizing is true to size, traditionally adidas kits have been quite tight fitting, I can't fit into my Argentina 2014 size small but my United 2015 small is perfect.
