Hunter? Mooney smashed Hunters face into concrete, he got up, came back on and helped us win the game. I wouldn't exactly call that soft ...

Who is the softest player currently playing footy.

My vote is Travis Johnstone

I recently posted a thread for "Weakest Player in the AFL" the top four vote getters were:

Brodie Holland
Scott Camporeale
Alan Didak
and Andrew Walker

I am staggered you don't have any of these in your poll, poor form:thumbsdown:

Johnstone - loves the non-contact, uncontested posession side of today's game.

Johnstone has plenty of non-contact possesions because no one is good enough to play on him. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ben Grahem was soft. You ask chwarz.

Snell is rather soft. I am not sure who Geelongs softest player afterall, last year proved they were all extremely timid.

Alan Didak gets in a fight in every game = not soft
Dale Thomas? Find me a single piece of video footage with him shirking contact. Utter crap!

Ryan Lonie... fair enough. It was a close call for me between Lonie and Josh Hunt.

Snell is soft? His career was ended by a badly broken leg you moron. PS your spelling is horrid.

A similar poll has been done recently. This one offers a very ordinary selection of players in comparison.

Where is Brodie Holland and Scott Camporeale?

Hunter, LRT, Goodes, Kennelly:confused:

What the hell is your selection criteria?

You seem to have included players that rarely get tackled? Or maybe ones who you just don't like:thumbsdown:

Where did you post it, the Essendon board? I'm amazed that Matthew (greg louganis) Lloyd didn't get a mention. With the new rule about hands in the back I'm sure he's at home now on the trampoline practising diving forward at the slightest touch.
:p

Disappointed that Brendon Lade isn't an option. I recall a match a couple of years back when big Brendan decided to intimidate a young Geelong defender...really gave it to him. A little later on Cam Mooney decided to repay the compliment, gave Lade a bit of a tickle and Lade didn't want to know about it. If Lade ever saw the footage he would have been embarrassed...wasn't a good look as Lade spent the next minute or so trying to get away from Mooney

This is a f*cking sh*t thread.

First of all, noone who plays AFL is soft. To put your body through that much stress and get out there week in week out and train and play....that's dedication and balls. Any AFL player would be "harder" then everyone on this messageboard. Give them the respect they deserve.
Second of all, Johnstone isnt "soft". He doesnt get his own ball often because it isnt his job. You'll find if Melbourne are in trouble, Johnstone heads to the centre and gets some clearances straight up. I remember him racking up 5 one quarter and kicking 2 goals straight from his own centre clearances. If you checked stats for the seasons he played well (2002, 2005, 2006) he is right up there for clearances etc. Plus, if there is a fight in a Melbourne match, he is the one who is likely to be involved.

You can call a player 'dirty'. But no AFL footballer is soft.

Is that why you absolutely flogged us twice last year during our worst season in 15 years? What guns.
:D I think that it is a little funny that a cat supporter would think up a post like this and not put in cat players in the list. Lets look at it, you pretended to be the real deal but couldn’t handle the pressure. That is soft. I guess you know it. That’s is why every time I had a look at the cats board last year, you were bitching on like nothing else. Soft cats. Meeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooow. Show us a catfight.
