This still the best. Don’t care what you say.
I think these Wild Horses songs are better.
Ec. Terrifying. Australia had some pretty ****ed up kids shows in the 90s, so maybe some oldies can cut us milennials a bit of slack. There was also Lift Off with the weird doll with no face.
Yeah. They run Rhymesayers if you're familiar with them. They've put out some fantastic records (Aesop Rock for example). Is he stil alive?

They're selling some sweet MF DOOM anniversary stuff at the moment.
They put this out towards the end of '23 and I reckon it's pretty damned good.
Personal opinion.
Well if their pre 2000 stuff is ok that’s 20 years of good work - doesn’t gel with saying you wished they never existedPersonal opinion.
They remain a 'good' band in their prime. 80s to early 90s but their longevity is poor in contrast to other artists. Their current appeal imo is lacklustre stacked up against the other bands of those periods but fail to compete with the likes of Pixies, Black Keys, and other similar bands.
Anything post 1999 is derivative. Again. My personal opinoon.
Long syory short. They were great back in the day but looking back have faded like a wilting flower
Just saying that revisiting them doesnt hit even close to the feels ofWell if their pre 2000 stuff is ok that’s 20 years of good work - doesn’t gel with saying you wished they never existed

I feel like they were great at the time but to me I honestly cant bring myself to listen to anything of theirs with the exception of
Sunday Bloody Sunday, Miss Sarajevo
You are a tough judge if you don't rate U2 as one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
Not many rock bands have had so many great albums over 20 years.
Boy, October, War, Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby, Zooropa, Pop. All That You Can't Leave Behind.
They peaked with Achtung Baby, that is in my Top 10 albums of all time, a game changing album.
I also believe U2 wouldn't have such a negative reception if Bono wasn't such a sanctimonious knob.
Sounds like it's strongly INXS influenced to me. And really? Greatest song?
Icehouse were better before Man of Colours.Sounds like it's strongly INXS influenced to me. And really? Greatest song?
I like a handful of songs from most huge bands and artists. The only huge artist I ever had more than 2 or 3 albums from is Neil Young where I've had tons. And there were a few disappointments there of course. Quite a few.
But Springsteen...2 or 3 over the years
Dylan ...3 or 4. U2- 1 album Joshua Tree which I adored. Stones - like so many songs but never bought an album. Bowie - 2 or 3. INXS- none. Again liked a few songs of course.
Never liked Icehouse -can't say why exactly. and would never put them in a world class category. Out of step with a few here obviously.
