I've been thinking about this today and suppose you have

1a 100/100 1b 60/100 That's an average of 80

2a 81/100 2b 80/100

By law of averages I would give the votes to pair 2, but neither song would be overly memorable, but just very good without really getting to the point where I'd listen to again, or put on repeat on my playlists.

Personally I'd prefer to give the votes to pair one due to the significant impact that one song had over me, than two songs that really didn't hit the feels.

Everyones going to have their way of doing it.
