Some playlists, like the last one, are very easily identified as having nothing much to offer me after a quick skim through unknown songs.

Anyone who knows my nomming and voting history over the past 9? years can see the breadth of stuff I've appreciated. Except Loonerty.

Unless it's something popular that you don't like, then you just throw the condescending laugh react when someone says it's good.

Judging something on how "popular" it is? I've never heard of her. Might be weird to you but judging music on what I hear is the way to go for me.

There's plenty of music from before I was born that I think is very good.
There's just too many "music sucks now" voices that need balancing.

I believe I present a wide ranging selection in both era and genre.
At least, I aim to.
Can always go more off-beat though.
More mongolian throat singing & Georgian/Russian Orthodox choir music and Armenian dudek is good...admittedly, my attempt to introduce 1960's singer/ composer Vashti Bunyan fell completely flat...despite her being named one of Britains greatest folk artists.
