BOTES DUE SUNDAY 10PM AEDT

Only 18 noms, I've already got a top 20 finish and I'm pretty confident of getting a top 10 finish with my song.

I won't give away which country I chose but if you know my nomming history it shouldn't be too hard to guess.

You really don't like getting those reminder tags hey? That's a very proactive vote!
I listened to every song too. Fab playlist imo 🫶🏻

I could vote early too but I prefer to take my time and listen to the playlist a few times over a few days to make sure of my votes.

On a few rare occasions I might leave it to the last half hour before the deadline and do a speed listen or I might forget to vote.

That’s where my mistake is…. If I listen to it too many times I end up only voting the top half lol

So tonight I focused while I did my nightly reps and wa la no taggy taggy for me and I get to enjoy my weekend
😂

Hoping the Turkey songs take me to my turkish barbers where we dont speak a single word where I listen to their spotify playlist and watch muted national geographic.

I entered a Turkish song last year that I heard at the Kebab shop

The Turkish songs take me back to the Istanbul bathhouse we went to where they tortured us with a massage and didn't speak.

I felt great afterwards so I guess they knew what they were doing but it was a painful process where they were beating us up.

At least we got to wear loin cloths, the girls in our tour group had to get their message completely starkers which was hilarious.

My favourite Turkish song.

Having some whirling dervishes in the video counts as being Turkish right?

I do think the music was inspired by traditional Turkish music 😊

The song was written for Heath Ledger:

It had just started snowing. It was a magical moment. That night we had to do this Australia gig, and when we got to it we found out that Heath Ledger had died. He'd died two blocks from where I was walking and at the time I was walking and it started snowing. He was from Perth and we were in New York City, this big foreign city, and I felt this immense loneliness of this kid from my hometown dying by himself there.
