We all love Linga but tonight he is just so slow and missing tackles and the opposition has no respect for him! He's having absolutely zero effect on the game!

He's costing Geelong big time right now!

Put a fork in Cameron Ling.

He's done.

Can't chase anyone who has pace, it looks like he's going backwards or he just stops as he did in this 1/4.

He is also now missing tackles, two this quarter against Pendlebury and Johnson. While he's not getting enough effective ball to make an impact on the offensive end.

Insert the fork.

They won't make the 8 next year, no wonder Ablett's leaving, the ship is sinking.

Just thinking this myself. fat, slow and missing tackles...massive liability atm

What a let down! was hopeing for a match of the year, now ive gotta put up with all the collingwood nuffs at work sprouting on and on!

Geelong just havent turned up tonight, they better get their shit together or this is going to get messy!

3/4 to go boys, lets not put the mockers on just yet thanks

Geelong are a great football side, but jeez you'd have some massive nuts to back them right now. Your boys are menacing at the contest, destroying Geelong with pressure and kicking straight for a change. Makes for some imposing footy.

I don't believe he is fat slow and old it's just the came has turned away from the type of player he is. His main strength is his amazing endurance which in the past he has used to great effect in blanketing his opponent. However with the way the game has been going with non-stop interchanges that endurance counts for next to nothing as players are going to the bench every few minutes for a rest. If there is an interchange cap put in place next year then people will again see the advantage.

the bounce of the ball tonight always tells the story.
dont worry about linga, what about the other 17.
we are gettin smashed by a more hungrier, riskier, version of ourselves, like it or not we are getting Geelonged.

Nah sorry fella's but Ling's gone IMO! Bomber has tried him forward but the ball needs to get down there first and then when's he's in the middle he's just getting shown up for speed!

We all love Linga but its clear that the game has passed him unless he plonks himself in the goal square!

geelong team of old men and its showing

Spot on. Ling, Corey, Hawkins who moves like a very old man just can't get it done against this pressure. They aren't elusive enough or able to make decisions quickly enough with ball in hand, let alone quick enough to match Collingwood's transition to attack.

Other massive weaknesses that have been masked by an unbelievable side becoming glaring. One-sided players; Byrnes has embarassed himself a few times. You can't afford to be corraled so easily against a Collingwood side like this, and too many Geelong players have only one option.

But the footspeed is the crucial thing, very few Geelong players who are either able or willing to break a line with their feet, which is the only time they've looked good all night.

The old men you talk about have won 2 flags and played in another, Dont talk about them as failures because they are not. this group of men can hold there heads up high.

Another of this new breed of don't tell the truth or you'll upset somebody.
