Those Clubs are down there for a reason most a poorly run lack of attracting recruits and that no offence to the people trying their best to keep these clubs aflot. lets go through them one by one

Mount Waverley fair committe down there more intrested in big noting than actually achieving.

Lyndale the clubs is in a new faze with no real long term goals.

The kangaroos run by one man who really needs with gel with the rest of the commitee,
Sandown run by one man who is not too intrested in succes.
Dandy the club is run by people that are trying their best but dont really have the passion that makes success.
The Dragons not really a club run by football heads a group of social mates.
Doveton look at the coach they have appointed i think that says alot. might fold anyway.
Not too sure about the new team but by all reports going to stuggle in a very mundane comp.
Please remember this is only my opinion it could be a false veiw but its my veiw:D:D

Myview could you explain this to me from an outsiders point of view, not arguing just interested to know. Club has worked very hard so far this offseason to recruit good people to the club that will help not just in 2011.

I can't speak for the other clubs, but in regards to where Mt Waverley is concerned..

All I can say is don't think we are content with being in Div 3..
we believe we should be playing in a higher division already.. but we also know that we have to win premierships in the Seniors to do it..
All I can stress is that we will be trying everything in our power to do so...

Look as i posted its only my opinion i understand your club has been trying hard to recruit thats all good and well where is the long term vision????
Have a look at the calibre of person you are trying to recruit and you will see its a short term goal.
Its not just about success its about long term survival and building for the future.
Can you honestly say your club is doing that???
 
For over 12 months I have been cleaning up babyish bickering between some contributors on here, enough is enough..

If you have an issue with a post or a comment use the "Report Post" function..

You have all had enough warnings in here, from here on in permanent bans will apply.

PS. As I am not a Police Officer, it is really irrelevant to me how you can speak to them.

how the hell can a moderator say he does not care what is said to other posters if it is to hot in the kitchen get out:)

Wow... After all the claims of your intelligence level MyView, someone else actually read the basic principal of the post.. The personal niggle and bickering between you two has come to it's end... You either talk about football, or you will be removed... If you disagree with a post someone makes, respond in an intelligent manner and make your points relevant.

As for handling the heat in the kitchen, young man, some maturity and actual thought in your posts in the future will be required. So get practising.

If you read my posts most are in responce to people who call me names:D:D But i am a big boy i can take it unlike some;)

Sandown will be playing there practice matches against Nunawading (div4 EFL) and the southern dragons.

The current playing group is looking quite fit and are working well with each other. Been really good numbers each week. A new culture has been implemented and the boys are responding.

i hope the new COACH has been a big part in the change of culture
we will soon find out when we play them :):):):):):)

Yeah, the coach has been a big part in the change but it's the whole club in general with the inclusion of the general manager (who is fantastic and is really making this club as professional as any other club I have played at), and some of the new playing group.
I look forward to the praccy matches

Anyone know of how any of the other clubs are traveling? New recruits, news, praccy matches... Anything really??? Need to generate some talk on this board.

Would have to say, that based on what lve seen on all the clearance web pages, that the cobras are the side 2 beat. divi one blokes from the coaches old mob will be the difference. lyndale dont look 2 bad, but l querie their mid range players. doveton are gone. mount are gone. dandy, like always will struggle, endeavour hills will be like the next doveton. most of their people from what l hear are ex rat landers anyhow. moorabin are the smokeys and while lm at it, lets not forget cerberus...... they folded
 
Way to early to be calling who will be the team to beat etc... Yes we have picked up some very good players, training hard, improving discipline and club culture. But I'm sure every other clubs have picked up new recruits and think they are in good shape for the season etc.
Our praccy matches will give a good idea to how we will travel. I dare say we will be a much quicker, tougher, and overal fitter and silkier side then the Sandown of past years.

Whilst at it, who are the players to look out for from each of the clubs this season??? I heard Yap has done an ACL and will miss the whole season... Any truth to this??? Big blow for SD if true.

pretty sure very few of the players that have trained with us over the pre season have ever played at Doveton.
We at the falcons wish the eagles all the best and are looking forward to playing them come round 2
In other news, we are playing Silvan and Eastern lions in our praccy matches and are really looking forward to getting out on the ground after a searching pre-season

Shaping up??? Any big names or upcoming signings?Who are your players to watch?
