Whats going on with Dandy?
Are they a decent side or just capable of beating the bottom sides. Seems every time they look like they might have a good chance they get flogged. One week they look good then the next they get flogged. Anyone from Skye or Black Rock have a comment on this seeing they were Dandy's last couple of games.

Yeah champ. They have maybe 3 decent players and thats it. Shut them down and you have yourself a win. How about Skye? GONE?

As for todays games. I was up in the Glen Waverley area for lunch today, decided to stick around and watch the excitement at Mayfield. Ha. What a pathetic display by Sth Yarra. It's not even like MT played any good, Yarra were that bad. I'm suprised they managed to list 6 in the best for the SFL website, their only good player was number 12, and maybe their ruckman, number 3?

As for MT, obviously 18 and 11 up forward kicking all the goals, number 4 in the middle was good. Best on ground was probably a toss up between number 23 coming out of defense and number 9 on the wing. Although didn't really see much of the young winger in the last half, didn't matter, he destroyed them with 4 goals early on then probably had a rest. Sorry I dont know all their names.

Good to see that Doveton is not rated yet! Coming weeks will be a test though with Canterbury away, Skye at home who are sitting out the 4, and Black Rock who look shakey! Then it starts all over again.

Gonna be tough month, especially if our best team is not selected each week. But I'm sure we can bounce back from the drumming we coped from Canterbury.
Some big, impressive wins on the weekend. Any standouts from the weekend.

What are u trying to say Scratcha, not happy with the coach ?

I see Caulfield are doing quite nicely !!

Word has got around my young freind, I am recieving phone calls aplenty about your statements, I suggest you maybe should tone it down and move onto your next target....

Me, I enjoy the majority of your posts, except the ones when you get unecessarly personal like you have about the 2 great leaders of my club.....

I think the best thing will be to drop this and move onto some more broader footy topics, Like how impressive have Doveton been early.. or the outstanding Talent of D.Black, or the impressive form Jump from Black Rock!!

Corey has been telling me all year about watch out for Black Rock, they seem to be the form side of the comp at the moment, smasha was right!!

Hi Madman, this wouldn't be a threat would it?

Look out Enemy the Skye assassins are after you !!:D:D:D

Who are those 3 players for Dandy?
Obviously Black is one, but who are the other 2?

Yarra were shocking yesterday. Not sure how they have been playing recently, but they were all selfish and just wanted all the glory for themselves, but they didn't even get that. If they continue to play like that for the rest of the year they won't win a game. Won't even get close.:(
Mt didn't play there best either. Played poor for 10 minutes and then when they switched on they just booted 5 or 6 goals in about 5 minutes. Then they'd drop of again. Could of been uglier for Yarra if Mt wanted it to be.

Wasn't great, Yarras are still slotting new players in and seeing how they go. A couple of first gamers played alright yesterday. Long injury list and very young players don't do us any favours. They finished without a bench and at least one injured guy still on the ground yesterday.

Jack Flynn at full back didn't have his best game, but he's only 18 and has played forward his whole life apparently. That Mount forward with the girly hair has an extremely quick lead on him. All the Yarras can do for the moment is stick at it. Cerberus next week, and then a very welcome rest with the Bye. At this stage I wouldn't think the Cascade game would be under consideration. Extremely high scoring game though, 80 points is a big total when you get belted by 114 or so. The game seemed to go forever, probably due to the time it took to retrieve the ball after goals down that hill. The Yarras have dropped off in recent weeks, no doubt about it. They're mostly guys who haven't played together, so time is probably the main thing that's going to fix them. There is some talented players there though.

Ah yippita yippita That Is All for Skye folkes.
Dadny 1 more chance this week against Mt.
Doveton beat no body in first 6 rounds bang bang 2 out of next 3 are loses.
Black Rock on the way back with a danger game this week.
Sth Yarra v Cerberus lock the crowd in play the tactical game chess at half time as both these sides have got untactical coaches.
Sandown the quiet shshhhhh achievers they might just sneak a peek into the 4 at some stage of the year.
Canterbury smooth sailing with the bye up there sleeve.
Any truth that Mt beat a kindergarten side on the week end.

That Is All.

skye are in big trouble, there is no doubt about that! if they don't beat us this week they could almost give the year away! doveton were terrible on saturday, however, as scratcha mentioned, there were a few left out of the side for various reasons that will be there again this week. canterbury were bigger and stronger and put on much more pressure forcing turnovers. they deserved the win and will be hard to beat.madman, whats going on? where was it lost for you blokes?

Not saying anything like that! We got smashed by a top team on their home ground. Having our best team selected for the game would have helped though.:rolleyes:
Canterbury too strong and big for us on the weekend and play their ground beautifully. The young blokes still learning.
Tough test for us in coming weeks with Black Rock and Mt. Waverley.
And then we play the others who we have beat during the year!!

Funny thing with Eagles, we get to play these NO BODY teams again, which in theory will give us 10 wins for the year, with maybe another 2 wins against Skye, as you have stupidly suggested they are gone!!!
And 1 of these NO BODY teams you have suggested they might make the top 4. Those little voices in your head may be the Enemy Within!!!:D:D

I hear that Kreskas snapped his leg with a few minutes to go on sat and could be over for him. Is it true.
If so its bad news for the Cobras and unlucky for a great footballer and Bloke. Good luck on his recovery! No body likes to hear or see injuries like that!!
If its true!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Robbie did break his lower leg with a minute and half to go.Clean break of the 2 bones.Spoke to him before the operation yesterday where they were going to insert a pin in his leg .
Seemed in as good as spirits as could be expected. Will see him today in hospital to see how it all went.

I hope Robbie is ok ! Great footballer and Great bloke.

Having broken my leg in the past let's hope that he is able to come back better than ever. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Played him a fortnight ago and looked fit healthy and a preety good footballer to boot. Nobody likes to hear about injuries like that and even though i don't know the bloke except for that one game, all the best robbie and hopefully thats not the last time he pulls on the number 9

Get ya hand of it!!! you would have had 12 free kicks 20 meters out for poor tackles, in the back or some freebies just for the sake of it, look mount where by far the better team but the scoreboard flattered you. Also you had a full strength team while yarra had 7 senior players out.
How would you know that we had a full strength team. We had 2 first gamers and 2 of our better players sat on the bench for most of the game with a few injury niggles.
Not sure you can say the scoreboard flattered anyone in a 100+ point flogging. But I think i know what you mean. It was a pretty even game until Mount put their foot down for a few minutes and then blew the game wide open.

Terrible incident with only minutes to go!!

Terrible sound when it Happened!! I wish Robbie all the best in his recovery!!

Great Footballer and even better bloke!!

no-one likes to see those injuries!
tell me madman, where do you think you blokes will win the game on saturday? midfield, forward?

yea seems to be going around the broken leg. We had a bloke (black rock) break his leg and dislocate his ankle playing Sth Yarra two weeks ago then our new full forward blow out his achillies on Sat, bloody terrible for the blokes concerned.

And not the worst incident from the weekend?
