Cant see COBRAS troubling Skye there last few results would not indicate a win but who knows the Skye boys have been hiding abit this week maybe a big build up !!
Canterbury by 98 points.
Canterbury with Jenko and Danny back seem to be on track and should thrash a struggling Dandy for the biggest win of the round !
Sth Yarra by 17 points.
The yarras have had a couple of good wins lately but have more mature players should see them through in a tight one.
Doveton by 30 points.
Young side need to get more consistant footy out of there younger group and seem to like the bigger grounds.

This may been seen as being biased, but Wilkin easily. More marks, better disposal and more touches.
I think they were both named in the best last time we played also. It does seem odd when direct opponents both get in the best, but it happens in the AFL a lot too. I thought Wilkin was very good today, hit up the leading forwards a lot more times than anyone else in the team, especially the oldest one.

Skye must of had a win hey MM,where were you last week a self imposed imbargo,Wilikin easy.
If you took away the million free kicks that Smith got gifted for no apparent reason, he would have had zero affect on the game. Smith also had little affect when going forward. Sure all ruckman play off each other hence get easy touches, but from what i saw, Wilkin took stacks of contested marks and his work at ground level was far above any ruckman Yarra had. I left before the end of game but i think the Umps would have been crazy to go past Wilkin for the 3 votes.

Oh good lets get back to bagging umpires and talking about thugs. Who cares at the end of the day the results are in the book, along with the best players. Get on with it, surely there was some good footy played out there this week.

I am sure that watts would be chuffed with the support and backing of his coach, but i just reckon the big fela from mount by the name of J.Wilkin takes the chocolates.... i sure as hell hope he doesn't get a kick this week though

Some interesting results on the weekend Mount did pretty confortably after half time did the yarra's run out of legs ? as there past couple of games they have done well after half time.Dandy also within a goal at 3/4 time against Canterbury until they flexed there muscle great effort for Dandy, Joosce any comments ? Skye thumped Cobras Rowley great performance up forward as well as GP and MM both talking again ! Doveton seem back on track with a very good win against Cerbrus considering Cerberus's efforts against Skye preavious week.The results just show if your off the boil anyone can beat anyone, every game this week has a big importance to most clubs seasons.Cerbrus and Cobras face off with the Cobras could go to equal points to Dandy if they lose to Doveton....the plot thicken's if Doveton win and Canterbury lose to the unbeaten Mount then Doveton back in the 4 whilst if Skye win there 2nd spot !! She's warming up boys !!
Great to see Big Bill with the 11 sausage rolls next to his name, rather than in his guts.
Puts him just under the average required to bag the ton, outside of finals of course.
Would love to see Sauce get there though... imagine the celebration... he'd do 5 laps of the ground.

The last couple would be quite slow I would imagine.
Did have a couple of his celebrations happening on Saturday.
Didn't you read my other tips Injury Prone? They were fairly accurate with a roughy thrown in. How about sticking your neck out and contributing!.
I was at Dandenong on the weekend to see the home side take on Canterbury. I must say that to Dandy's credit they gave everything, particularly number 81 for Dandy who apparently played in the 2s as well someone was saying. Cobras ran the game out better and looked much fitter than the Redlegs.
From my notes, I thought Jenkins #3 was best for Canterbury and Baker #9 was unstoppable with his freakish goal kicking. Other notables were 66 who is a dour defender and one of the better full backs I've seen in Div 3, 14 Pearce seemed to be everywhere as were numbers 8, 29, 39 and 67 all impressed me at some stages of the game.
I might go to the Sth Yarra v Syke match this week and see if Skye can say that they really are contenders.
