Kobey Phillips - ClaremontAny news on where they’ll all end up playing?
Have heard rumours that Gilmour and Joseph are going to Campania to link up with Daft and some other former premiership teammates.
Rumor mill is going crazyKobey Phillips - Claremont
Jason Gridley - Lauderdale
I am not 100% sure about Gilmour and Joseph going to Campania as of yet, however it’s a possibility that I wouldn’t rule out.
I heard those 2 were going back to Richmond. Not sure how reliable the source is though.Any news on where they’ll all end up playing?

Hobart better win while Gilmour is coach or it’s a massive bust. Simple.
Don’t tell me these young blokes will hang around the club either, they didn’t last time and they won’t again. SFL shouldn’t bend to any club with points situation. Develop your own.
With all due respect, I don't expect Hobart is particularly interested in what other people's opinions are. And I'm totally fine with that.
It's high time the club stopped "rolling with the punches" copping s**t every year, being mocked by other clubs who recruited heavily about being ordinary for two decades and actually came out swinging, looking after its own interests first and foremost. Good on them, I say!
It's all fine for other clubs to do it down the years, while Hobart spent very little.
Face facts, Hobart was dead in the water and looked highly likely to have gone out of business by 2022 through a lack of interest before Gilmour signed on as coach.
The culture of the club had become very, very stale, unprofessional and unambitious and that had to change. And it is.
Also, I think you'll find that a fair portion of those players the club have signed on, as per postings on their Facebook page, are underage players as well as senior players, they've made a point of welcoming every new player to the club, no matter what grade.
By the way, if you're running a club and you have players banging on your door wanting to play with you, and you're finally being seen as a destination club for the first time in a couple of decades, would you turn them away? Would you say "Ohhhh nah, you're right young fella, we best not recruit you because a few blokes off the internet might crack the sooks if we do, best you go to a rival club"?
You would literally have to have the IQ of a Whoopee Cushion if you did that.
Hobart in the past might've done that, but certainly not this current one.
In relation to developing from underneath, I recall very well the club began doing that several years ago with great work done by the late Brian Harvey, and it was becoming quite successful, only to be totally stuffed up by Scott Wade and that other oxygen thief, Wayne Povey. Have never forgiven either of them.
Personally, I've always thought it was about time the clubs stopped their petty whinging, backed themselves and started doing similar.
Make the SFL worth being involved in again.
Fact - the ones who don't WILL be left behind.
Proof's in the pudding and has been for years now.
Yer at the time I got absolutely hammered when I was concerned about the approach and who they had targeted.Im sure they won’t care about my opinion, I wouldn’t expect them too. I don’t have a problem at all with how Hobart have gone about it, at all. I’m just saying if they don’t win while he’s there it will be a bust in my opinion. Clarence and North Hobart aren’t missing those young blokes as a whole btw. Lachie Andrews the only one I consider would develop into a TSL senior player so the rest my as well play SFL. Your right Kingpin if they didn’t do what they did they would probably be gone right now, but if doesn’t work or even if it does I hope they have an after Gilmour plan as Richmond clearly didn’t.
I'm sure that a few clubs would want them. Gilmour has a very good footy brain and would instantly create a target up forward.Would you want them, destroyed Richmond and now Hobart. Gilmour burns most club he goes too.
Well the long term plan was that they were going to build up the strength of the club through the underage and reserves but that never eventuated.Yer at the time I got absolutely hammered when I was concerned about the approach and who they had targeted.
It was clear this day would come but hey it was just an opinion at the time that turned into a fact. Those young recruits were always going to jump at the first chance though.
Looks like they didn’t have that after Gilmour plan made up either. What now? Try and raid another club? North Hobart and Clarence don’t have the extra juniors to poach now.
He would. Good player and good footy brain but would you risk your club for the sake of 3-4 years.I'm sure that a few clubs would want them. Gilmour has a very good footy brain and would instantly create a target up forward.
The way things are going, what clubs can guarantee they will still be around in 3-4 years? He would. Good player and good footy brain but would you risk your club for the sake of 3-4 years.
Very true. The way things are going, what clubs can guarantee they will still be around in 3-4 years?

If you banned colts players from doubling up then half the sides would already not be able to field a reserves side.I have a horrible feeling that times are only going to get tougher for a lot of clubs in all of the comps. Juniors dropping off and just not interested, recruits want massive dollars, volunteers harder to get than players and running costs of clubs at an all time high.
It is worrying times for Football Clubs and supporters.

Don't see what the problem is.What about the disgraceful form from AFL Tas/SFL Bullying other clubs and players in regards to the Hobart FC potentially losing all its players.
I have never seen this happen in the past when clubs like Claremont went through the same thing, you can’t keep players at a club they don’t want to play for.
What I don’t get is that the Hobart Senior coach stood down due to personal reasons and now all the players are leaving, What’s that got to do with the senior coach standing down? if the players wanted to stay at the Hobart FC then they would stay no matter who was coaching. Maybe the board are the problem and that’s why the players want to get out of there.
