The only thing "sad" about it is you won't let it go!

Oh, and thanks G4e. :)

I don't even know where to start. Stupid on so many levels. Congratulations.....

I'll take your congratulations, as long as it's coupled with a commitment that there is never any need for any team's supporters to act in the way I've described, after they've won a premiership.

I have no problem in conceding the possibility of a St Kilda premiership this season. If they continue to play as well as they have, it will be well deserved. What I'm alluding to is the in-built odious reaction which will result from this circumstance. St Kilda supporters will be unbearable.

Here's the test - prove me wrong. Win a premiership and be gracious about it. Then your club will truly be deserving of the respect of the football community.

Of course, the real issue with this dare will not be in the winning of the premiership, more in the reaction thereto.

Yes to both. Missed out seeing any Roys flags though.

Fantastic. What did you think of my team's past three flags?

You seem to be in a unique position on these boards to rebut my argument about St Kilda and Melbourne supporters.

However, I also seem to recall that you see no reason to have any correspondence with me at all.

This is as it should be.

Fred, the nothingness that nothings(verb).

????

Im sure it's happened more than a few times when we had finals involving only 4 or 5 teams, but since the final 8 has any team gone from a non-finalist one year to the Premier the next?

I'd be happy to be unbearable.

what a stupid thread - it's round 10 my man, chill out. There's a long way to go yet (christ, opposition supporters are talking up a premiership more than we are).

and if and when we manage to win a premiership not a single st kilda supporter will give a stuff of any description as to how others expect us to act. We haven't won since '66 - do you think we'll call it an early night??

now please, stop harrassing us and let us enjoy our recent success.
