They took how long to win there first flag??? 11 years. 1885 formed first VFA flag 1901.

First VFL flag in 1921. So it took 36 years to win a VFL flag. Compare that with Crows WCE Brisbane Sydney and Port.

Heh. For years, the running joke is about how Richmond changes coaches every 5 minutes. Then we keep a coach for 3 years and now we're the team that unites around our coach and makes excuses.

The worst thing about all the trash talking directed at Richmond is that when we start our winning era, a lot of Richmond fans are gonna be really obnoxious and painful. Understandable, but I'd rather it didn't happen that way.

That's not too bad. If Simmonds is healthy he's one of the better ruckmen in the game. Pattison is developing nicely and is a pretty good 2nd ruckman. The other three are unproven and hopefully won't be needed much for a couple of seasons. If just one of them works out, we'll be okay in this department.

Bottom line is Richmond are a modern day joke. You can pull out stats from the 1900s.

Every other club, has played in twice as many finals campaigns as you guys since 1980.

Your Coach is money hungry and your recruiting is shithouse. You wont be a contender for another 5-10 years.

Its only strength is being a Victorian cub that once was successfull, in the dark ages.

But remember last time you won a flag a VB commodore won Bathurst. Compare that to a V8 Supercar, show how relevant that flag actually is to the AFL.
