• We trade in Hopper and trade out Soldo
• We elevate Pickett and Stacky to the senior list and draft one player in the ND
• Keep RCD, Biggy (rookie) and delist Aarts and Martyn

That's a pretty good assessment, showing a bit of depth in the magoos although I'd have Broad on the ground in the 1sts with Baker on the bench to help with forward rotations and Sonsie in the 2nds.

Tarrant wears Hawkins like a glove. Cotchin finished equal 6th in the B&F, missing a fee games and coming second in our clearances. Jack stepped up in the final and found a place in our forward line where Lynch could he number 1 and we were the highest scoring forward line in the competition.

We don't win next year's flag without a fully fit and firing Cotchin, Martin, Riewoldt and Grimes. These guys should be playing around 18-20 games next year excluding finals

Would be surprised if any of these 4 get on the plane to Perth, and Cotchin, Tarrant and JR8 maybe don't get on a plane at all next year.

I’m not even sure Balta is a lock in the team if all our key defenders are fit. He needs a big pre season imo.

I reckon Ralphsmith will take a little while that’s why I haven’t mentioned him.

I do think both wing positions could very well be a revolving door this year if performances aren’t great. Honestly can’t find a spot for sonsie as much as I want to!

We have alot of depth, I assume Cotchin, Grimes, Riewoldt and maybe Martin and Tarrant will be rested quite regularly.

Also makes cornes' argument about not being bullish on us due to injuries look quite foolish, when/if cotchin and grimes are injured graham/ross/sonsie and gibcus can come in and cover, same for prestia

It's a tough side to crack into.

By end of season we desperately need to have that Riewoldt KPF position filled. Either Ryan, Gibcus, Miller, Bauer can hopefully become that 2nd KPF.

Also, with what Miller and Balta can potentially offer as second/third rucks, I think that's enough when Nankervis is playing to not need to play Soldo.

The good thing is we have players in the wings who will be pushing to crack into that side, so when everyone is fit competition for spots will be high.

Agree with that although, I see no need to draft anyone. I think we can elevate Miller and we can put Cotch and JR on rookie vet list if necessary especially to save cap if we could well be targeting someone a lot better end of 2023 in trade or FA and might need the extra cap then. Unless there is real hidden diamond in the rough using a draft pick would be a waste compared to the opportunities from players leaving clubs next year end of 2023
