The only positive I can see on the new home jumper is that the Deliveroo logo isn't weirdly hanging over into the white panel.
The black training guernsey is awful, it looks like an unfinished template and the yellow one is just a weird shade idk why they got rid of the red.

Agree. But the reason for that is because the white panel is now thinner - which is also awful.
They could’ve just reduced the Deliveroo logo, but...$$$

That's all bitterly disappointing, especially when Melbourne has had some of the best off-field gear for years. The black shoulder patch is awful and it's the same issue that plagued the black-cuffed jumpers. But unfortunately, everything is already at such a low base with that god-awful Deliveroo logo plastered everywhere. Just kills every bit of merch, the worst-looking sponsor in the league and we've had a few bad ones in recent years (Ledified was also trash).

Shame they can't remove the awful blue border as they did on the polo photos with James Frawley.

These are the worst strips we've had since I started supporting us nearly 3 decades ago. There is no reason whatsoever for the crest to be so small and so low on the jumper, and it looks especially bizarre on the away as there is no sponsor.
I'm opposed to the training and off field gear having our logo in greyscale, branding is vital and I don't see why you would agree to a change that removes one of the colours in the clubs design for no apparent reason.

I thought last years kit was bad, but this is much worse. 40% off brand new stuff maybe indicates they are aware people won't like them and they just want to shift gear, there's no other reason to offer such an enormous discount on brand new gear.

Melbourne had the same template with NB

The only thing saving Melbourne is the red goes all the way up through the neck area as part of how the actual jumper looks anyway, so in a way they got away with it there.

You can see where the stitching is on their jumper, looks like ours will be the same. I'll hold out hope it looks better in-game but at the moment I have to say it's got to be one of the worst jumpers the club has made.

Whole lot is hideous. Bitterly disappointing after some pretty decent kit lately.

How bad is the premiership team photo going to look in these jumpers?? 😳

Could it be that they are just pressed flat and that when they are on they will look alright?
They'll look better on the players for sure. Maybe not great, but better.

There’s a photo of a bloke on the wheelchair team who is wearing one of these guernseys. The way the red stops at the shoulder looks just as bad on someone as it does in a flat render.
I get that those in charge at the club generally aren’t die hard Saints fans like us, but surely one of them would have a little bit of pride in the guernsey the team will wear.

It blows my mind that we somehow manage to **** around with the jumper so much. Our jumper must dead set be one of the very most geometrically simple and yet we still find a way to stuff up such a simple concept after getting it right.

For about the 5th time this century apparently we need to relearn the lesson that:
- Bringing the back over the shoulders looks shit
- Having a ludicrously thin or thick white panel looks shit

Come on guys...

Heinous, but hoping the on-field stuff overshadows it all!

My Richmond mates had a melt down that they played in the 2016 GF in the reverse clash strip, by the time the game ended they never mentioned it again. Hopefully the strip won't even get noticed next year because of performance.

A dogs breakfast.
The club is stunned at the response from social media.
Probably the worst jumpers I’ve seen the club put out.

Sales will undoubtedly show how well the entire NB range has been received by the supporter base.

I was holding off getting the kids new jumpers & myself a training tee until the new range was released. Think I’ll just go with the discounted ISC gear.

I don't know if that sales will related to how well it's received, if we have a big year they'll sell anything with a logo on it.

Concerning that the club is stunned at the reaction.

They must be very out-of-touch with supporters if they thought changing the basic design of the jumper and using slightly off, faded colours would be a hit with the public.

Would still rather support Saints in a shit jumper than the Dees in a good jumper.

That's my only positive take on this.

Geez, people need some hobbies....

Of course the deliveroo logo stands out like dogs balls - companies don't pay $$$ to a club like us to "blend in".

The main concern seems to be 2 inches of black material that probably should be red....quick, grab your pitchforks, this cannot stand....

I say we build a bridge, get over it, and look forward to seeing the red, white and black jumper run around on our home deck again, rather than nitpick every millimetre of something we've only seen in images on a screen.

It's not hard to get right. Does it matter in the scheme of things? No probably not, but there's no reason why we shouldn't strive for something better than the shit we got served up by New Balance.
