It's a little subtle but New Balance has made some improvements to the home jumper this year (a lot of people - myself included - weren't keen on New Balance's effort first up).

The white panel is broader again after last year's very narrow stripe, and the template cut itself is more like a traditional footy jumper rather than a tank top.

Good stuff, I hadn't noticed. I mean I thought we looked better in it on the weekend but I thought that was just me having gotten used to the 2021 version.

It does look a lot better but I still can't stand the shoulder cut off on the red panel.

I just got one of these limited edition beauts to indeed confirm I have a Saints' jumper problem.

Now I've got the vintages of '66 and '84.
Below is the '66, just because it's glorious with the red cuffs, buttons and pinstripes.

Waiting on the early 90's Philip Morris woolen jumper, hopefully out in a couple of years if they continue doing these. Tooheys one aswell.

I suppose it's already been talked about, but it looks a bit rubbish having that Pepper money sticker on the tops rather than the logo printed directly. I hope that this kind of thing won't be the case every year.

Also, the red away long sleeve top (as modelled by the boy-ish Jack Sinclair in the Melbourne match) looks like a little boy's 'Jammie top, and I hope no player is ever foolish enough to wear it again.

The black long-sleeved home top is considerably tougher - especially when modelled by "Mad Dog" Long, but I couldn't find any photos of him so here's baby-faced "Silklair" again.

The red top has a lot of attractive points but those sleeves can get in the shredder.

The red longy is mint, terrible take from you.

I sold my original Toohey's long sleeve on here to someone who was collecting them a few years back. Wish I'd kept it. Number 7 with Nicky Winmar's signature on the 7. My wife chucks out all my clothes that she thinks I don't wear so it was probably better in someone else's cupboard than the op shop I guess.

I had a kids knitted longy with the old school AFL logo and maybe the tooheys sponsor with a collar that im sure got lost during one of many moves.

Sucks, would have been awesome for my little man at some point

Geez that's rough. I would've framed it or something so it wasn't tucked in a cupboard for years. I've got a bunch of old jerseys that are doing the same at the moment but I have to get around to framing a few.

I wouldn't want anything on the wall but it would have been nice to hand on to my son or something.

I've got a couple of special ones, the 140 year one and the replica '66, those are the two I'd frame. The rest are just variations of the candy stripe over the years, best clash strip we've ever had I reckon
