I don’t think this is an accurate assessment yet as we just played a team that intercepted and forced turnover on our 68 inside 50s. In 1/3 of our games this will out balance our stats. In a few weeks once weve played port, GC freo and north itllWe are bottom ranked in efficiency inside 50. 3rd top in goal accuracy.
Basically we get it in a lot, and when we shoot we score goals more often, but also turn it over going in

The rate he bounces and how soon he takes his first bounce may appear a bit silly, but my read is it's actually a smart move.I think Saad is taking the piss a bit with how much he bounces the ball, then you realise he's a missed a game and look at the averages...

Good answer. I'll accept that. The rate he bounces and how soon he takes his first bounce may appear a bit silly, but my read is it's actually a smart move.
He gets a bounce or two in early, whenever he's got time and isn't under pressure, meaning his 'run distance' keeps resetting and if he has to really put the jets on to evade someone he's got an extra few metres to settle before disposing.
I'll think we'll be zigging with the best of them soon enough. I suspect just a focus from Voss in implementing a tough contested and competitive brand for now, before we build in other areas.been seeing a lot of commentary that all the good teams have strong scoring from turnover ... whereas we have relied on dominating clearances
is this lack of transition game a case of zagging when everyone else is zigging? will it work or will it limit us?

I also think it's how he was taught to do it. His technique isn't quite the standard one, but it works for him because he's both faster and more agile; his bouncing has a different trajectory. He takes that many bounces because he did it when he learned, and he does it now for good or ill when he takes off.The rate he bounces and how soon he takes his first bounce may appear a bit silly, but my read is it's actually a smart move.

In the 6 second half quarters in our last 3 wins (Dogs by 12, Hawks by 1, Port by 3) Carlton have kicked 8 goals.

Prelim at a minimum it is!Currently the 4th best contested possession side of the past 10 years (measured by differential). That's some serious company to be keeping.

By the way, any chance you could turn your bedroom light on so the photo isn't so dark?

That was the problem with that swans guy last night. He took one bounce late then ran about 10 metres. He needed to take 3 bounced early like SaadyThe rate he bounces and how soon he takes his first bounce may appear a bit silly, but my read is it's actually a smart move.

NoHas there ever been a club that has had two different Coleman medallists in consecutive seasons? Charlie a real chance after Harry got it last year.
