Sorry if this is a stupid question but what are the chances of people like mlg sos liddle Teague etc having an account here?
Harker is Liddle... "We butchered this" posting from home, not welcome to sit with the others on draft night.... :p
Ferris is MlG
Teague is TeagueTrain
Barrass is SOS...lol

It's a good take...it really is. But the more I dwell on this, SOS aside, the club has just thrown two of its own players under the bus, rather than truthfully address an issue. This may be a new low...well, lets say since 2002 anyway.
nsis......

AFL should throw every dollar they have at SOS to build Gold Coast. They have capital in gifted picks. Need their cap fixed. Don’t have his sons. 5-6 year build would see them with their best shot at sustainable success and see SOSs career out.

... and our list depth is stripped clean.
Jack & Ben go to "sons"

100%....if I get on, the one question I would ask would be: "Just a 'yes' or 'no' answer please...was there was a rift between SOS and our CEO"?

I'm tipping I wouldn't get a response.

They vet all the questions beforehand, but you can already send them in.

I've sent 3, but I'm doubtful that they will be answered.

The outrage on here is going to be in overdrive after this on-line forum, with the bullshit spin that will be delivered to us....I think we can pretty much conclude that this is only an exercise to try and settle the natives after what has recently happened.

It's little wonder that they didn't offer an open forum for members to attend, in order to provide some genuine feedback face to face with our executive.

Me thinks it would have got ugly....

Sounds like it’s going to be like question time at the AGM where the same qs will be asked over and over again, year after year

If any of you think you’ll get a different answer from the press release I suggest you don’t bother going.

If you want a question answered, send in a q or 2 in relation to future growth opportunities outside of membership, what are they doing to drive those opportunities and what is holding us back?

Questions that may give an off the cuff response.

I’d particularly like to know what the club did about the double standards of concessions last year compared to this year considering we were an absolute basket case at the time. What was the AFL response. When is it time to treat all clubs equally and live or die by the rules.

You know qs that won’t have mostly predetermined answers and evoke some form of open conversation

Yep, agreed. I doubt they will give much genuine depth to any SOS related questions of him departing.

Almost best using it as an opportunity to ask about other stuff, like if we got 100,000 members in 3 to 4 years, where are we playing the bulk of our home games in not too distant future?
Is there any really big vision as a club to work with another big club and have a project of another football ground in Melbounre to hold over 70,000 and be co-tenants in ? MCG cannot service Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond and Melbourne having 10 or 11 home games each there.

Having shit house Docklands as a home ground stadium is complete shit vision. We need to work on something else for the late 2020's and beyond. If we just fit in with being stuck with majority of home games at Docklands our vision of our club is not big enough.

Totally agree with this
He's so suited to them right now. He can make a big impact there.
We are onto the next phase, and we need to move on
