Hahah - yeah, but oddly enough my research has shown that being Drunk and obnoxious actually helps on that score.

Its counter intuitive but it works!

Point being by the way that its a little unreasonable to expect young fit 'alpha male' blokes with time and money to spare, in a high pressure tight group environment to not let their hair down from time to time.

Its a chance to switch off, head out and bond with mates, or even to get away from the game every now and then.

As long as its reasonable of course (no drugs, doesnt interrupt or interfere with training and isnt becoming problematic etc).

I guess I just come from the school of 'work hard, play hard'.

Any potential losses fitness wise is offset by other factors such as team bonding, the chance to relax and refocus and... well just having an active social life and getting amongst it.

Theyre not robots after all.
