I am getting used to it, quite fun reallyCan we merge this with the trade thread now??
Who wants them though?
Carlton might, but they only have pick 3, theres no way they trade that, would have to be players which is useless, Collingwood are in a similar boat and are holding 6
Brisbane is unlikely as they have 4 1sts, id imagine theyd want a first or players for Schache
GC highly unlikely as mentioned beforehand
Geelong and Hawthorn are highly doubtful due to a lack of currency, rule out GWS and Melb too
Norf, nope, higher chance Stringer goes there himself
Port, doubtful due to the players they are chasing already
Stk, nope 24 and 29 are miles off 7 or 8 and Stk have stated they would rather move up than push down
Freo, nope probably similar to Collingwood and Carlton with 5
Your only chances of getting into the first round are Richmond, Adelaide, Sydney or WCE
Only if we can keep the EFC trolls out of that thread too.Can we merge this with the trade thread now??
It's a risk but there are precedents.
Dusty Martin and Ryan O'Keefe are two obvious examples. Nick Stevens was good for Carlton after trying to get from Port to Collingwood too (even if he was a dick of a bloke).

Best to leave it for a few more days, but I agree they have become almost interchangeable.
So Watson said we 'prevaricated', which is the same uncommon term that was used in the Nick Bowen article on AFL.com.au.
Looks to me like Tim Watson is reading exactly the same sources as everyone on here is and trying to sound like he knows more about what's going on.
yeah i'm not sure. The longer this goes on the more and more i think hes staying at the dogs.
We have either called the dogs bluff or the dogs think they can manage him back in the side, if that's the case than all the media hysteria is BS. There is no way the Dogs would keep him if they didn't think they could work with him, and that's probably got buy in from him too,
Just grab him next year when he is OOC. Only problem then is if he gets his shit together it could be a bidding war.yeah i'm not sure. The longer this goes on the more and more i think hes staying at the dogs.

Exactly. Forgot about Lyon ..... he loves sticking shit on our club too. It's not stupidity or being ill-informed, it's just devious journalism. Don't tell out-and-out lies, just dress it up to look like we knocked back pick 11 on its own.
"After they reportedly turned down an offer for Stringer involving pick 11 ..."
"That deal was put to them; they could have taken pick 11 and then shuffled a trade..."
Deliberately no mention at all of pick 27 going the other way (which significantly weakened the value of the offer). Yet if the deal had gone through they would quickly be saying how Dodoro had triumphed and Essendon had "won" the trade because they not only got a young AA with exciting potential but had also got valuable currency in return to help them secure Saad.
It's a shameless attempt to influence the trade market and public opinion for partisan purposes.
Who is Corey Norris?
Who is Corey Norris?
Who is Corey Norris?
By the way I hate the term ‘Fake News’.
Yeah.
Problem is, there's plenty of it around.
Show some respect. He is "The Donald".Donald does not approve of these posts. I do.
The Stringer camp was left shellshocked by Essendon’s decision on Thursday morning to trade pick 11 — which the Bulldogs had demanded for Stringer — to secure Devon Smith from Greater Western Sydney.
The Dogs’ determination to work the best deal is both admirable and a sign that the chances of Stringer returning to the kennel are extremely remote.
Stringer has told confidants he would rather sit out a year of football if faced with the reality of having to return to the Whitten Oval, but history says that’s a threat that is rarely followed through.
The mercurial, yet flawed, forward, leaves this week on a holiday to the US.
And I think you are a moron
Your point?
So we keep him, very simple. Thanks but am I really that wrong, if next year's draft is so much stronger than this year's draft then why wouldn't the Dogs say lets have a first or second round in next year's draft to go along with a second round this year or a player.
The Dogs have up to this stage have failed to find anyone willing to give up an early pick for Jake despite his playing ability being worthy of such.
