The thing with Boak was that even when he was struggling (due to his prime being wasted playing in the wrong position) you would never question his effort and passion for the club.

I can't say the same right for those two right now. Jonas still very screams Norwood playing for PAFC. Wines doesn't have another gear to lift. He was struggling last night and the commentators were so confident he'd pick it up in the second half but I think everyone knew that he wouldn't.

Boak, Hartlett and Houston are the only 3 for me at the moment that displays anything resembling what a PAFC captain should be like.

If you come out and say you need to throw out a long-standing sacred tradition because it will give us the best chance of winning, you sure as sh!t need to back it up as you are facing a massive backlash if it doesn't come off. We appointed co-captains because there was a disconnect in the group, and it was a way to bring them both together. No one in the playing group would respect Jonas or Wines after that shit. How can you encourage others to pick up the slack when you’re not?

Both of them should offer to hand in their captaincy after that performance. It wasn’t good enough. But we all know they won’t, because that would be the act of a true captain...and neither is.

I’ve said if before and I’ll say it again. When Ken gets sacked I think Ollie will go with him. I’ll pack both their bags. He is such a “Ken” player. Inconsistent, poor skills and always looks like he is about to cry. i was so stoked with the potential he showed in his first couple of years but has not developed. Gone backwards in fact.
