The thing with Boak was that even when he was struggling (due to his prime being wasted playing in the wrong position) you would never question his effort and passion for the club.

I can't say the same right for those two right now. Jonas still very screams Norwood playing for PAFC. Wines doesn't have another gear to lift. He was struggling last night and the commentators were so confident he'd pick it up in the second half but I think everyone knew that he wouldn't.

Boak, Hartlett and Houston are the only 3 for me at the moment that displays anything resembling what a PAFC captain should be like.

If you come out and say you need to throw out a long-standing sacred tradition because it will give us the best chance of winning, you sure as sh!t need to back it up as you are facing a massive backlash if it doesn't come off. It was a high stakes gamble based on a hunch that backfired and they now need to pay the piper. I have zero sympathy for KT on this issue. 99% of supporters could smell the bullsh1t. He should have known better and killed it.

I knew these two would be rubbish as captains, either by themselves or together.

They don’t and never will have the intangible qualities of a leader.

A leader doesn’t sulk because he has to share the honour with another player. A leader goes out to prove why appointing the other guy was a mistake with his performance, and that he doesn’t need help.

We appointed co-captains because there was a disconnect in the group, and it was a way to bring them both together. No one in the playing group would respect Jonas or Wines after that shit. How can you encourage others to pick up the slack when you’re not?

Both of them should offer to hand in their captaincy after that performance. It wasn’t good enough. But we all know they won’t, because that would be the act of a true captain...and neither is.

No-Captains > Co-Captains

Pretty much what we have now anyway.

Just make it official.

IDGAF if it hurts lil’ Ollie & Tommy’s feelings.

Put the campaigners on notice, every campaigner...

You need to double-down on your call to make Hartlett captain and cut your losses with Hinkley.

I’ve said if before and I’ll say it again. When Ken gets sacked I think Ollie will go with him. I’ll pack both their bags. He is such a “Ken” player. Inconsistent, poor skills and always looks like he is about to cry. i was so stoked with the potential he showed in his first couple of years but has not developed. Gone backwards in fact. Still gets smoke blown up his arse.

Houston you got to be kidding

Boak obviously wants to wear his dads No.10 to end his career
That’s fine happy with it
Make hammer No.1
Dixon and boak VC no team needs more than 3 leaders

Ken was as angry with that shit as I was.

When Dixon is the one who has to rev up the guys in midfield to ****ing pull their finger out due to Wines and Jonas playing like shit and knowing they can’t demand anything from anyone...it says a lot.

Bit negative. You must be sad inside

Wines is playing so bad atm that I reckon he’s been in a coma since the wakeboarding incident and we’re actually playing his Bulgarian body double Ognyan Wynkov to save face.

Prove me wrong.
That’s the first laugh I’ve got from something Port in a long time.
