I'm sure the club will do everything it can to keep her. She's definitely the highest rated female player to ever come out of our academy. Harris is a Burleigh junior from Varsity College (just like Lombard) and the club seems determined to keep all these talented Burleigh juniors at the moment (see Gulbin).
I think we would have heard by now if she was in the open pool or not. And probably easier for her to stay in QLD, though from what I was told she was keen to head east but was happy to stay too, so she didn't seem fussed. And moving across the country can be a bit of a bother if she didn't have to.

While I'd love her, I'm very happy to have the best vic girl, in ash centra.

Yeah Harris is one of five Suns who will be among their nominees.

Also it can't be understated how good this year and next is for the Suns Academy. You genuinely might have the three best players in next year's AFLW Draft... on top of at least three additional top 30 players (and a few more handy draftable types who could develop).

Gold Coast superstar Charlie Rowbottom also remains unsigned and has attracted significant attention from rivals, though interested clubs remain of the belief the former No.1 pick will ultimately recommit at the Suns beyond this year.

I'd really like to keep Harris, if we can. Obviously she's an exceptional talent and she should drastically improve our on field performance, but she also has intristic links to the Gold Coast. Her dad (Jonathan) played pro basketball for the Gold Coast Rollers NBL team in the 90s and it would be awesome to see another second generation GC athlete representing our city on the national stage. Plus, her brother Jonah is also in our academy and could find his way into our men's team one day as well. Watching Charlie and Havana dominate the opposition together will be fun.

Ha ha about the posts
Very good

Anyway I go to every Suns women’s home game and if you ask my daughter what she wants to be when she grows up her answer is
A Suns Girls player

She’s goes to Titans women’s games too but those are her words.

So this year was so putrid.
Also I’d actually given up and thought everyone was going to survive which was really deflating.

So yeah I’m very glad to see some accountability

However when it comes to wanting someone sacked my enthusiasm level was

Sesseyaro 10/10
Joyce 7/10

I don’t understand why she has such a stranglehold on her position.
She’s had plenty of time to create a list and culture that reflects the Gold Coast women’s sports and fitness scene.

Nonetheless this is good. I’d like to see the best candidate on merit for the job be a woman.
We were a year late on Daisy.
Is there another one out there?

She’s talking to everyone. This accurately reflects her on field output this season. See ya.
Yeah when you have met with multiple clubs means you are out the door.
They imply its connected to the coach leaving. She came over because of him?

Game went past her. Very slow. Possibly the club told her time is up.
Really happy to see it.
We were too tall this year and seeing the Captain just constantly beaten by her opponent in skill and especially effort was a culture and a coach killer.
She shouldn’t have been in the team.

And you can see how committed she was deep down despite the honour of being the Captain by having sold herself to anyone available.

Yeah Nah. Bye.

The same happened when Hannah Dunn was captain. By the end she only kept her spot because she was captain

Ryan Davis (Former SUN, Lions Assistant and Premiership QAFLW coach at Southport
Rhys Harwood (Senior Assistant at NM)
Leah Kasler (Former SUN and Former Assistant at ADE)
