Has slimmed down. Hopefully his tank has improved and he gets serious mid minutes
Loved Moyle since the moment he got here. He might have to leave it Witts lasts too long but he was an awesome pick-up.Moyle on board.
Moyle: We can be the pioneers of something special here
SUNS ruckman Ned Moyle says going head-to-head with co-captain Jarrod Witts is the perfect stepping stone to a potential AFL debut.www.goldcoastfc.com.au
Ben Long handy pick up then I'd say....Someone better than me can put the link up from afl site but Powell has done a serious hamstring in doubt for rd1. King on track to play trial against gws, weller flying and a chance for Rd1. I thought our pre season was too good to be true.
The club were possibly only expecting one of Weller/Powell/Buda to be available for round, hence his recruitment. Just turns out to be a different one unfortunately.Ben Long handy pick up then I'd say....
Bad time for him to get injured personally too, there are a lot of young players who need games and only limited spots.Hamstring is no big deal. I would be extremely happy if it's our only injury during the pre-season. Everyday teams report injuries as pre-season ramps up.
Wondering if adding quickly 9kg could have played a role. More pressing question for me - Can Powell reach the top level again after the nasty ankle injury. The same goes for King, Weller and Budarick. It may take some time but hopefully all recover fully.
Powell during the Sunshine coast camp after hamstring injury.
I suspect if Powell can come back like he played before ankle injury he is automatic selection.Bad time for him to get injured personally too, there are a lot of young players who need games and only limited spots.

Touk king of the mountain, showing them who is boss.Pre-season Camp Challenge: We're crazy, but it's what we do

It looks like Ace finished 2nd.Touk king of the mountain, showing them who is boss.
Rowell looking lean too. Big season up coming from him.
Hard to tell who finished where with the editing, but it did look like that.It looks like Ace finished 2nd.
Ace looks way stronger this off-season. I am actually quite optimistic about him. Against North last game he was pretty good. It would be a great story if he makes it. I am rooting for him.Hard to tell who finished where with the editing, but it did look like that.
Mad that he only had 50% TOG last year, clearly can't have been a fitness issue.
Be interesting to see who else finished well, reckon these sort of runs tell you a lot more than a 2-3km around a track.
Rosas 64%. They will both need to lift that a lot to replace Rankine who was 85% last year.Ace looks way stronger this off-season. I am actually quite optimistic about him. Against North last game he was pretty good. It would be a great story if he makes it. I am rooting for him.
Rosas also started only like 50%. It should go up this season.
I wonder if Longy eventually finds his way into our forward line. We're obviously going to have an excess of small/medium defenders once all these guys come back and I would assume Long would be selected ahead of small forward candidates like Ace or Berry if push came to shove. The club were possibly only expecting one of Weller/Powell/Buda to be available for round, hence his recruitment. I think I remember dew being asked about that and sounded pretty sure he'd be a rebounding half back. I guess if the backs were stacked and he wasn't performing well there's that option and it's good to have that flexibility. I can see weller playing a fair chunk on the wing, before he got injured he and Powell were pushing up to the wing quite a bit and it was working well.I wonder if Longy eventually finds his way into our forward line.
