I did re-watched the game. It seems at no stage during and after the game he was bothered by his shoulder. Strange. You may be onto something :)
I doubt they're putting him on ice for the trade period.

If we were out of finals contention, then fine.
But there is still 6 games left, no chance they don't play ainsworth even if he's leaving.

Dimma said something like he copped two hits on the weekend but played out the game.

As mentioned, if we need him (which we do) I think he’d play if able.

Tom Morris is nothing but a stain on the human race.

He’s also proving Hardwick’s point. McStay coming back from an ACL for a Melbourne team at 8-8-2 is some massive inspirational story, but Weller coming back from a second ACL for a team at 9-9 gets a ‘lol Gold Coast, you lose away games’. If Weller was coming back after that for Collingwood, it would be the biggest story of the week.

Also, Tom Morris has the persona of a person who likes the taste of their own farts.

Yeah I noticed the lack of Weller coverage too. Barely a footnote on the AFL podcasts I listen too (no surprise, really).

Weller will only ever get mentioned if people want to bring up the Pick 5 debacle…

But really, it comes down to our own local media coverage. Whiteing and Co. needed to pump it up, because nobody else will…

Tom Morris is the ultimate shit eater type.

Mac cops a mouthful

It's fair.

Mac had a great 1st half of the season, borderline all Australian.
But with the massive role he's been given, fatigue might be setting in, and he's been struggling last couple of weeks.

Doesn't excuse Ballard or Anderson's form on the weekend though.

Look at Andersons form home vs away and you'll notice a pattern.

9 home games - 32.6 disposals (13.7 contested, 23.7 effective), 4.3 tackles, 7.8 clearances, 8.6 score involvements, 8 goals + 8 goal assists

9 away games - 25.4 disposals (8.9 contested, 15.5 effective), 2.4 tackles, 3.9 clearances, 4.6 score involvements, 3 goals + 5 goal assists

Needs to work on versatility to play forward or back because he's been a liability in the middle away from home this year.

You can say the same about our every midfielder.

Rowell has been badly down since mid year.

Flanders averages more disposals at better efficiency, more clearances and his kicked more goals in our losses.

Yeah sure, the team is down on the road, but Anderson has had the sharpest decline in all measured stats of all of them.
