Didn't realise Brady was playing defence that year ;)

You may well be right but Mahomes is absolutely beatable.

Great defense helps but you need a brilliant mind to control the outcome of the game and that is what separated Brady from the rest.
I see Mahomes in the same class. He has seen every scheme that will be drawn up by the Eagles. He'll adjust and do his thing.

I ask you this, will Hurts live up to his end of the bargain?
A lot of question marks yet to be answered.
I'm far more confident going with a proven champion opposed to someone riding a wave of momentum as we speak. When things get tight, this is where we will see Hurts turn it over on the biggest stage of all.

Chiefs got this ;)
Mahomeboy MVP and the usual suspects get their share of the glory as well.

I personally envision the Eagles D dismantling the Chiefs like the Bucs did to them two years ago.

Mahomes post-snap flair for creating ad lib will be pressed on, they'll corner him into a box, take Kelce away, and it'll get ugly.

I don't see Hurts struggling to rise to the big stage. He's matured and has his feet on the ground. Had his adversities and worked thru them, so level-headed.

Eagles up something like 13-3 at the half, and something like 27-10 in the end.

Looking forward to this one.
As soon as the game ended at Arrowhead stadium, I knew we had the two best teams left in it.

I'm not sure why the Chiefs are underdogs. I get how good the Eagles have been all year and Hurts has elevated himself into an elite qb but this is Mahomes we are talking about.
Other than Tom Brady, if Chiefs go down big early in the game, you can be sure Mahomes will make the necessary adjustments in the second half.

Should be a classic.

To be fair, playing against the GOAT opposed to a one year wonder is a slightly easier task ;)

Watch for Hurts to get shown up in this game.

Vomit inducing posts, and I love Mahomes.

Nick Foles beat Brady when Brady played his best ever game in any SB. Results run so much deeper than QB.

And so far, Mahomes has a terrible statistical output in two SBs, even the game he won. He's no Jim Plunkett. He's gonna have another stinker in this, even if Chiefs win, and will have an ongoing thing about him of having terrible Super Bowl personal performances.

I hope Mahomes wins purely so the Brady nut huggers who think "rings = best QB" start getting a little more jealous over him threatening their hero.

But as GG rightly points out hes stunk it up in the big dance so far and didnt even deserve the SB MVP he won (Brady style), clearly that should have gone to Damian Williams.

If the Chiefs win I hope hes clearly the reason unlike last time.

Good to see someone gets it;)

Best ever game?
Let me guess, he put up the best stats ever so that equates to best Superbowl performance.
Love seeing stupid analogy like this.

Even if the Bengals took the lead last game in the final minute, Mahomes likely would have been the one to march them down the other end given his 4th quarter record in comebacks at such a young age.

There is a bloody reason why no other playing position in world sports is put up high on a pedestal. It is why the discrepancy in weekly salaries is glaringly egregious.

Ok, tell me a Superbowl he performed better in than the Eagles one? It's clearly his best SB performance and it isn't even close.

Just shows how dumb people are when they equate winning to QB performance

I thought Brady's performance vs Seahawks was masterful from start to end...nothing blatantly brilliant, but just confronted with a great Seahawks D and picking them apart with a strategy, short passing, quick hits, and the Seahawks struggled to stop him really.

And his performance vs Falcons....that second half was amazing. Just balls out Terminator, going for broke.

His game vs Eagles (2) was excellent, it was a shootout and he was going toe to toe. But both Defenses were pretty bad that day. But i value more a QB having to deal with a tough D and/or in a hole and having to dig the whole team out of it

The game vs Seattle wasnt as masterful as people make out, the Seahawks defense was beaten up and players played unfit. He threw two picks and only won the game coz of an all time great brain fart on the goal line.

Vs Atlanta..His defense held the highest scoring team in the league to 7 points in the second half and 5.8 points below the 33.8 points a game they averaged that year. Greatest comeback in Superbowl history? Absolutely. His best performance ? No, he was only decent in the first half. So many unexplainable things had to go right on BOTH sides of the ball. Falcons gonna Falcon.

He was the only reason his team was in the game vs the Eagles, a true one man show from start to finish after losing his WR1 in the first quarter for the rest of the game (Cooks) . If people want to claim him to be the goat, look no further than this game.

Tend to agree that Eagles game was his best sb, that last drive was excruciating & he still gave them a legit chance to get to OT.

Please don't resort to name calling. You are better than that.

Nope, I rate the ability to single-handedly (and a bit of sheer luck) turn 14 or 25 point deficit's into victories.
SB 52 was a high scoring frenzy where both qb's were airing it out all day long. Anyone who honestly thinks that was his best performance is kidding themselves.
The legion of boom were a step up in quality by comparison to this Philly defense and Brady picked them apart like a surgeon in the second half.

If this game is close throughout, no way would you back in Hurts come the last 5 minutes of the game.

He was fine in the first one. Played against a great defense and turned a 10 point fourth quarter deficit into a win.
Was terrible in the second sb but again, was competing against old man Brady who made 72% completions. When you have a great defense and a generational talent leading the offense, you better be absolutely perfect and he wasn't.

Different ball game this time around.

Going to be an interesting game. Mahomes showed just how good he is last week, on one leg. If he's anywhere close to full fitness will take some stopping.

And I'm still gutted.

What did Larry David say?
.
Some crypto ad in the super bowl last year with Larry David not being into crypto. With the tag don't be like Larry David.

Edit.
