This has probably been discussed too much and I do apoligise if it has, but has anyone got Sheppard on their bench or even in their 22. On the Rate My Team thread on the DreamTeam board he is the third most popular rookie back behind Phil Davis and Matt Maguire, I haven't heard the coaches come out and say he will play, he is not particulary training the house down (is he) and there is no obviou spot for him in our 22.

That might be true but I think Swift will get more points. Masten had a 38 possy game that only scored about 97 last season. Hes a dreamteam crab.

Unsure about Kerr at the moment. I won't pick him even at his price. He's just never been a good enough DT'er. As far as value well at West Coast this year theres plenty of it. In the backs I think S. Selwood, Hurn and Brown will all improve on their current price. Mids I think the same will go for Swift, Masten, Ebert and Kerr. Then up forward I think Josh Kennedy will be very good this year and be a good pick.

He's a chance at playing the first NAB round 1, will deffinatly be ready for round 1. When I say ready I mean up for selection, not "will be playing".

Surely he is secured in the 22 though? Afterall he did win the best team/club man if I recall correctly last year despite not playing a game, so must be regarded pretty highly.

He is def very highly regarded Baccs. With Bones having some good pre-season form, we may see them fighting for a position. J Jones could even be up for a similar position.

Still, he has done everything right with his rehab, iirc he got moved into the vice captaincy group, don't think that would happen if he wasn't going to be getting a gig.

Just a bit of a wait-and-see come nab cup time, check his role and form.

After the intraclub match I'd say hes a very good chance. If he can stay fit he'll play a lot of footy this year. Scoring wise I am not sure how he'll go. Hes considered an inside player and usually they don't score very well like Kerr.
