Brad Hill. I thought he would just be an accumulator and a player we would force gametime into but he has some class, is damaging, and is already a first 22 player.

5 pages in and no one has mentioned Mark Blicavs?

The guys had played 4 games since u/14's prior to this year now he has played 6 reasonable AFL games and has showed that with more time he is going to be an extremely handy player
Absolutely.

Masten and Hibberd own this thread.

Masten hasn't really been a surprise to WC supporters though.

Hibberd is not a suprise, he has improved every couple of games he played, he destroyed Stevie J a few years back in multiple 1 on 1 contests and was awesome last season but injury just keeped getting hold of him.

Baguley is following the same path as Hibberd atm, justkeeps getting better.

From Essendon so far it has been Merrett, I never imagined he would be a 1st 22 selection early in this season, probably every Essendon supporter would agree.

I think if Luke McGuane was playing half forward for Geelong or Hawthorn -he would be recognized as a top liner

He is a seriously good player
Funnily enough we drafted him as a forward back in 2004, But the geniuses at punt road tried to turn him into a defender. It only took until halfway through his 8th season for someone to give him a shot down forward!!!!

Would not ever want this spud at Geelong, great hands and nothing else.

I wonder if Harry Taylor agrees with your arrogant opinion

McGuane beat Taylor in a few one on ones -i havent seen that happen too often

If i was picking one player out of Richmond to improve Geelong -it wouldnt be Cotchin Deledio or Martin -it would be Luke McGuane

You are absolutely taking the piss.

When you watch Richmond carefully -i think Cotchin is overated -his field kicking is very ordinary -Deledio goes missing when the heat goes on-also overated

Geelong have got a stack of A grade midfielders

Luke McGuane would be perfect on a half forward flank -and in a top notch team -he would be a hell of a match up for opposition teams

I'm well aware that Cotchin is a pretty ordinary kick, but c'mon.
