This season could have been so much better if people werent so naive and believed every word Russell said. Safe to say its been a bit of a let down. Only thing its got going for it is if/when Parvati or Sandra get rid of Russell.

It's mainly the girls that are naive and buy all Russell's bullshit. Most of the guys saw straight through him but didn't have the numbers to vote him out.

Like I said before, Russell seems to have that Charlie Manson svengali thing going on with the girls. They just seem to lap up everything he tells them. You notice how he only seems to hang out with the girls and just works at getting them on his side. Now there is more girls than guys he holds the upperhand.

It's a shame Boston Rob went so early, he was about the only other guy with the smarts and cojones to take on someone like Russell. Would have been great seeing them going head to head over the last few weeks.

This the first series of Survivor I've watched. The only person I knew in this was Boston Rob because he was in The Amazing Race. I didn't really like him on that but he was a shrewd competitor, would have made things a lot more interesting if he was still around.

I wish he'd shut his damn mouth and not ask them any questions. It often gives the vote away! It should be secret ballot. It would be better if he asked them questions after the vote.

Yeah he talks way too much, not just at the tribal councils but during the group challenges. He just sits there sledging them all the time "Sandra's struggling to hold her grip", "The pressures on Colby with this next throw" etc. They must just feel like telling him to STFU.

Phil Keoghan from The Amazing Race is a much better host, he just gives the contestants their instructions at the start of the race and then the only other time they see him after that is at the pit stops. He doesn't rock up during the road blocks or detours and start sledging them and trying to put them off.

While I do agree with you to some extent.. maybe his "commentary" can be seen as an extra part of the challenge to overcome. Like you need to block him out. But i can understand... i would definitely want him to stfu if I were competing.
