Haha! I thought about asking for the lotto numbers given a few of them think they are prophets.

People seem to forget raw numbers of statistics are not as important as quality touches. Jolly does not get a lot of the footy, but generally does good things with it.

I found it especially amusing when they did not address Jolly having twice as many hitouts per game.

Jolly 1st in total hit out
Wood 19th in total hit outs

This is out of an 18 team competition too

That video wasn't funny the first or second time Gunnar. Give it up.

Just posted this on the Doggies board but thought it was relevant to this discussion:

Any deal in which we get Hall for a third round pick, and a swap of picks in our favour, is a massive win.

Don't really see the point in driving such a hard bargain as our past history has shown it's better to have good karma and the goodwill of other clubs, e.g. our trading relationship with West Coast has been mutually beneficial and Sydney, of all the clubs, are very reasonable to deal with. Would take a third rounder and good karma for Hall every day of the week.

Putting Hall into the PSD would be lunacy considering Fevola is 50/50 to be traded and Carlton could nab him first. Yet we're squabbling over minor places? Third rounder is fair. Just do it Eade.

Hall for a third rounder. Makes sense.

Great post Rookie, not sure why your boys are trying to play so tough over this, maybe Eade has bad blood with some in Sydney. Not sure. If Andrew Raines is worth a #44 (3rd round) surely Hall is worth a paltry #47 when he could genuinely be the difference between winning a flag and not.

If the burgoyne trade doesnt go through with Hawthorn they desperately need a ruckman what abut pick 9 and kennedy to Sydney for Jolly?
I think that would be a win win

THE SYDNEY Swans will chase a second experienced ruckman this trade period if they can fulfil Darren Jolly's request to relocate him to his native Victoria.

Coach Paul Roos is realistic about Seaby's ability to cover for Jolly, with the only remaining back-ups emerging ruckmen Daniel Currie, Mike Pyke and rookie Jake Orreal.

"We will [trade for another ruckman]. We've got Seaby in for a Jolly-Seaby combination, so we will if that happens," Roos said as the Swans departed Etihad Stadium on Monday.

so who do we chase now?

Hale

Hall + 53 for 47? Is Eade drunk? That is ridiculous.

rodney is majorly shafting us since we are the swans. i think we should let him go since he's worthless anyway. it was about being courteous in the first place so we have no need for this B***sh!t.

collingwood are trying to prey on jolly but the hawks just lost robbie campbell so we wont be dealing with agreeable parties :(

ARGHHHHH!!!!!! :(:(:(:eek::eek::eek:

Nobody told me he was a bible thumper

So was Shaun Hart and he won a Norm Smith...

Someones beliefs are there own and providing there is no disruption to team activity for it than there should not be a problem here.

While I was initially against the trade I don't hold any disrespect for the player who is now part of the Red and White family.

Here's hoping it all works out.

He has purdy eyes.

Jolly going was like ROK announcing he wanted to go last year. I WTF'd many times.

Wonder if we're going to be trading for any more players (besides the ruckman Roos already said).
