I think this game has shown imo that we need to move past the likes of Lochland for the more whippy McCarthy, Grunden, Cooper etc. as they just provide more run and tackle pressure

We didn't end the quarter well. We were lucky Geelong didn't kick straight. We just couldn't get it out of there.

The fact we cop these absolute ****ing clowns of umpires every home game can only mean they are Sydney based. Someone needs to tell them that they will not be seen as biased by following the rules. Really brave end to the quarter when we were hemmed in and under huge pressure but hung on tackling like crazy. Full of admiration. Wind in our favour dropped right off.
Alice Mitchell has improved out of sight, spoiled at least half a dozen likely marks. Good lockdown work.
Our two fill in rucks doing OK considering. Kennedy in everything.
Still struggling to get space.
Crowd seems a bit smaller but nice and noisy.

Yep, Brooke just doesn’t seem to be up to this level right now .. decision-making time & choices are average. Surprised to see her recalled so soon tbh.

Partially due to the 5 injuries that we have on the list. Have a squad size of 30 with 5 injuries that means you have to pick 21/25. Still think she isn't best 21

One thing I think we need to recruit for is players that are clean and confident with hands. When you compare our girls to Geelong, we are so fumbly. Just cost us the first goal there.
