So after seeing more of the facts these guys went out to get kebabs
That is allowed under the rules.
They then were approached by some cook who started punching.
Stack defended Jones. What was he meant to do, just lay back and get hit ?

So basically no rules were being breached.

They've done plenty wrong.

They caught an uber, which is banned.

They were drinking in a pub or club, which isn't allowed, unless they were drinking at the team hotel which I doubt.
This is the biggest breach of the lot, we can't defend this one.

The fight probably wasn't their fault but if they weren't breaching the AFL covid protocols then there wouldn't have been a fight.

Yeah media beat up. When the story first broke it sounded like they were blind drunk got kicked out of the strip club and were involved in a wild brawl. They probably were in the club but lets wait and see. You cant trust anything the media reports.

Club sources have confirmed that the players were out of their hub and while the AFL is investigating the detail and has not yet commented, the league's stance - and the sensitive political situation surrounding the relocation of the competition to Queensland - means the AFL and Richmond seem certain to take a strong stance.
Richmond held a social get-together on Thursday night inside their hub on the Gold Coast, KDV Sport, with drinks to celebrate the birthdays of Jack Ross, who turned 20 on Thursday, and Ben Miller, who turned 21 on Monday.

After the function Stack and Coleman-Jones decided to leave the hub and sources said the pair had travelled to the nightclub strip in an Uber, a clear breach of AFL protocols.

What... our boys weren't in the strip club? Weren't drunk? Weren't causing trouble? Were set upon by a drunken dikhed? Witnesses testifying this?
