Seeing as the main trade baits from the swans are Sadington and Fozdike and that the Swans are after a quality midfielder with excellent disposal skills what would your club give for them?

PS: Doyle sux! (ive always disliked him and the way he plays although most swans supporters would say otherwise about him)

After jason ball retires, swans fans arent too confident with him being our 1st ruckman.

Saddington for Eagleton
no offense but eagleton aint exactly what we are looking for....Cameron Bruce on the other hand with saddington to melbourne would be a nice xmas present

saddington has publicly stated he is happy at the swans and has no intentions of going anywhere...he has bought a house and is settled in sydney..end of story....

Saddington has always been extremely overrrated.

dont worry we dont want him he would cost us a fortune in players/draftpicks for a 2 yr player plus not to mention the 800k price tag on his head

I understand your love of one of your own, but surely the Swans would be better off to trade Saddington for a midfielder who can use the ball (Eagleton) or a ruckman (unless Cheer Red Blood is right about Doyle).

You can't afford to trade high picks, you don't have that many good young players and Maxfield, Williams, Ball, O'Laughlin and Nicks are getting any younger.

Goodes can't ruck (well, he can, it's just too big an injury risk) and Hall is a much better player at CHF, so Goodes has to play CHB. Schauble and Barry are established which means you could only play either Saddington or Bolton. I suspect you would keep Bolton.

Hall, O'Laughlin and O'Keefe are solid up forward.

Saddington becomes superfluous.

Your premiership clock is close to 12. Get another midfielder.

Their premiership clock doesnt even have a big hand. They cannot win a flag with that ageing old side and that boring gamestyle they play which doesnt win finals. They have no chance. They'd be better off rebuilding from scratch.

thats what we have been doing the last 2 yrs (not a long time) and now Paul Roos reckons (i tend to agree) that its time to go all out as the core group start to hit there prime ie. goodes bolton kirk schauble etc. (some maybe just past it and others not quite there so now is as good a time as any to go for that ellussive premiership cup....71 yrs and counting!)

Goodes must be played in the ruck! Last year he played there and had a great season, and since he has moved out he has been pretty ordinary. Injuries haven't helped, but he is best as a ruckman. There is an injury risk playing in any position.
