I wouldn't hate Heeney playing more time forward as he's such a strong mark.

But not much use being a good mark up forward if our midfield isn’t getting it to him because they’re lacking Isaac Heeney.I wouldn't hate Heeney playing more time forward as he's such a strong mark.
Hopefully soon. He'll play, as much as I'd put him in the 2s, so down back from the start and let the ball come to him. If he looks less rusty and exhausted in future games, can start to put him at a few bounces, if not needed down back.Parker found form against the Pies. This week it's Mills' turn.

I think when Issac is in that mood. There is no point having him play a position. But not much use being a good mark up forward if our midfield isn’t getting it to him because they’re lacking Isaac Heeney.
I just want him to replicate the position he played in the last quarter against Collingwood, where there appeared to be about seven Isaac Heeneys on the field.

Great post! There, you will see Blakey, ball in hand with his frills out, limbs akimbo, his hind legs flailing like mad, bursting through the corridoor and burning through his opponents, like the narrow shouldered dragon that he is.
He's been in our coaching setup all year so it makes sense for him to play behind the ball where he can see everything in front of him - a bit like the on field coach role Hodge played at the Lions.Very happy to see Mills to take at least two crucial marks in the last qtr - if he continues to get better, our backline will have been restored to full health.

We haven’t had our heads screwed on for 8 weeks now. That’s why people are saying we’ll lose to Essendon. Our best gets it done easily. We are not at our best.People scared of Essendon. Bloody hell.
Not saying we can’t lose but, if we do, it’ll be because we don’t have our heads screwed on and not because of some media inspired mythical force.

In the third the Pies were running off Parker when forward. Her was moved in the centre when the game was ‘over’, 27 points down with 12 minutes to go & not looking like scoring let alone defending. Parker is not the player we wish he can be anymore for a whole game.Parker found form against the Pies. This week it's Mills' turn.

Not a fan?Captain McPointy
A very big fan actually. McVeigh did it very well and I think that’s the natural role for Mills. The general down back helping organise the defence. Not a fan?
Yes, I think he was wasted as a tagger …but a few years back we had no one else.A very big fan actually. McVeigh did it very well and I think that’s the natural role for Mills. The general down back helping organise the defence.
