Maybe this off season is not going to be so slow and boring after all.

7 to 12 players and officials set to get infraction notices means some players are indeed in trouble. Talk of life bans from all sport for some. *dank has to be top of that list with the *weapon not far behind. Could it be that "disgraced former coach *jimmy 'the Idiot Boy' *hird" might be one? Will make the two year contract extension look a little silly. Significant amounts of egg on *little's face.

And surely the *bombers are stuffed in terms of the pre draft trading peiod. Who is going to want to deal with *essendon with this massive cloud over them?

Ummm, the AFL has rubbed out your coach, you had to sack your CEO, you're the laughing stock of the competition, you've been banned from the draft and ASADA are going to ban players for PED use.

(Memo: Crime and Punishment is a bit too long and complex to be summarised easily but the "takeaway" is that it is about the liberating effect of acknowledging one's wrongdoing and the possibility of redemption for anybody, no matter how grave their crime, as long as they fully and willingly accept they had done the wrong thing. The thing is, being the giant sooks they are, they actually make good on their threats to not turn up to games etc. Or maybe that was just because they were losing and they are giant front runners.
