Also another year that the "movie" that goddard promised is delayed.
Iam beginning to think its not gonna happen.

Maybe a more realistic goal like actually winning a final may have made the plot more believable?

A drought of finals wins: Essendon’s unwanted record turns 20 today
Essendon’s history is peppered with finals victories … until the last 20 years. The Bombers are lonely at the top of this unwanted ladder.
Statistically to not win a final in 20 years is roughly 0.00019816981 (or 1 in 5,046).

Think Footywire has this one wrong, on the wireless it was stated he wants to get another 12 month deal.

Yeah I do use it for stats and find it pretty good, but I suppose contract stuff over 18 clubs, they can make the occasional mistake.
He wants another 12 months on top of his existing 12 months.

He’s definitely contracted for 2025. He can see the writing on the wall with the *club making him a virtual ruck coach in the latter parts of this season. He wants to play. Highly unlikely he will unless his replacements are injured at the same time. Even then they’ll probably chuck the underperforming 2M Peter into the guts.
