Didn't realise Albo was anti-North. campaigners trying to send you to the wall.

Where you off to, now Tassie's off the market?
The state government might mistake us for Geelong and build us a nice 30,000 capacity in Arden street.
You lot are welcome to play GWS and GCS there, its proximity to Essendon might help your supporters believe they support a club, and not a corporatized quasi cult awaiting the rapture with Hird.

They're gonna build you a stadium you can't fill?

First the federal government kick you in the nuts and now you're suggesting the state government are gonna troll you?

some things never change

campaigner spent the previous 12 months studying the 6-6-6 rule and dick riding the rules committee, as well as being 1 of only 2 senior coaches who had direct access to the intel on the proposed rule change.

One preseason later Ross the Boss picked him apart in 60 minutes of football and this fraud was out of job before the end of May.

Fukc him.

Only made worse that he then signed off on the priority pick assistance package last year whilst the Essendon board was knee deep in recruiting him as their coach.
This league is all sorts of corrupt.

The AFL Effiks Unit would have signed on on that.
Reckon any of the ambulance chasers in Edmunds, McClure or Ralf looked into it?
No chance.

I was going to say this shit wouldn’t stack up legally but then it’s exactly what politicians do.
It’s the equivalent of BHP asking a government minister for assistance and being given the bare minimum, only for that minister to be in talks to go and run Rio Tinto at the same bloody time.

It fukcing stinks and still does.

This mother****er knew that the priority picks handed out would directly impact *Essendon’s hand at the draft and he deliberately minimized the damage before walking out.

I do agree with your comment in principle, it sure seems that way but do we know this? Did Brad know he was going to * before he worked on our PPs and if he did how can we prove it?

The PP thing would have been happening all season. Brad to * would have happened over a couple of weeks, a month at most. The PPs were done and annopunced nearly two week before Brad was announced at *.

2 weeks is a long time to go from having zero contact with them to being signed. I'd almost guarantee at least one boardmember was in his ear before the PP were decided. The only reason I say almost is because it's Essendon and at that time in particular their board was hot infighting garbage.

This is one of those strange ‘conflict of interest’ things that previously people would’ve stepped away from the decision making process, even if there’s a perception of impropriety.
Something that has disappeared from todays society, nobody seems to care they look dodgy.

There was talks of Essendon sacking Rutten at training which was the 16th of August and then they made the call on the 21st.
So effectively speaking it took them from the 21st of August until the 29th of September to land on Brad. That’s nearly 6 weeks.

Our assistance package was announced on the 18th of September.
How much of it was locked in by then - we have to ask ourselves as Amarfio only first went and met with the AFL on the 18th of July.

So the process took exactly two months and for half that time it is entirely possible that Brad was handling our submission as well as speaking to Essendon.

It just fukcing stinks

It’s only a conflict of interest if they want it to be.
