It’s unknown if they were asked specifically about Hamas. But I’ve never seen a comment from an Australian Muslim, including politicians, criticising Hamas. Would be happy to hear/read otherwise.

I think the guy that found it took it home and parked it in his shed. Looked inside, shat himself and called the cops.
None of the footage of the property seems to show a caravan, just a large shed with open roller door.



Not even sure if caravan was wired to blow, just that it contained some mining explosives, and some names/addresses, including a synagogue.

So yeah someone probably lost their nerve, or someone wanted it to be found.

Most reasonable sized mines these days would tend to use anfo rather than things like PowerGel (which I have heard mentioned in this case) so surely it shouldn't be too hard to trace where the explosives came from.
