Reports coming my way is that Cameron Bruce and Brad Green were at the Cadbury sport grounds yesterday watching DOSA v University reserves.
Brad Green is apparently good friends with Troy Stewart from Uni.

Both players trained with the Rainbows on Thursday night. Been over a few times now to watch Uni.

Was great to see big Charlie beaumont making a return back to footy with the Old Scotch boys on Saturday against perth. Played at Full forward and in the ruck and had a good game snagging 5 goals and taking some good grabs. Will be intresting to see him fire up with a few more games under his belt.

10,000 toast brewery open day
THE chance to learn the secrets of Australia's oldest brewery attracted up to 10,000 beer lovers -- and the next generation of connoisseurs -- to Hobart's Cascade Brewery yesterday.

So that's where everyone was yesterday, thought it was unusual to be so quiet on here!
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'"Deep Thought, Jack Handy

Good to see Tasmanians are just as passionate about beer as they are about pulp mills!:D

Close, oh so close......

Surely not the baby of the triumvirate?

And I thought he was the one I could trust to be polite!

Mind you, he did spend a year at Campania so any politeness he did have would have not been in his system when he departed that lovely little country hamlet!

Bullants by this....

Bullants by that.....

What the hell are you guys thinking?

F&*# THE DEVILS!

Claremont play the Central Hawks this week!

For the first ever Ozguy-Barge Cup!

That's what ya's should be talking about!

You Ozguy, like stelikejelly in 4 weeks, might be lucky enough to meet me this week!

If your people speak well enough to my people!

You might as well get the cup engraved with Claremont already. I have no confidence at all about this match :(

Yeah, of course you don't!

Your coach is in some handy form.

But not good enough to be considered for the Rep Game however.

What a joke!

Seriously I don't  I am as big a pessimist as you would fine.

Chopper is playing well, but 4 of his goals came in the last quarter, 3 of them in junk time.

Now if you could arrange to have a couple of chaps called Atkin and a couple called Webster absent for the game, then I might be a bit happier ;)

Or better yet can we have Sean McGuire back up at Kempton and you can have Mr O'Connell?

A couple of good pics of Boyer Oval covered in ice yesterday morning from today's paper.

TRIUMVIRATE??????? Barge are you getting ahead of yourself now that that you are with a glenorchy girl, just remember where your roots are from buddy.........they didnt teach you big words like this out at that blind and death primary school you once patronized, and you would certainly have not been taught this at high school out there......too busy throwing rocks at buses, stealing from the canteen ect...... ;)

My thought's exactly, that's probably why I've tipped them by 110, looking forward to a record score being kicked on the hopeless f*****!

Besides, you could put the likes of Devonport and North Hobart against this squad and they'd beat them comfortably! Let's be honest, it's virtually a lot of SFL/NTFL Players + Kangaroo Duds!

Because I have my doubts about whether they can win?

Because I know Chopper kicked 3 of his goals when the game was decided?

or Because I made a joke about a former Claremont player and a former Kempton player swapping places?

Next time I will refrain from posting my OPINIONS, or trying to make a lighthearted comment. I know my place within the Hawks, that is all that is important.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Can anyone tell me when Dodges Ferry lost in all 3 grades like they did on the weekend. Would not of happened in a few years
I wouldn't imagine it would have happened since maybe 2004, or even longer. Their underage have been strong since then, their 2's hae been allright (haven't made a GF but won a fair few games), and their 1's have been the benchmark of the comp, along with Cygnet. I heard they ahve a lot of players out injured at the moment, and are really struggling... Could be a Cygnet-Kermandie 2005 rematch on the cards this year, that would be great to see.

You may have your doubts fair enough but from what you said earlier you aint even giving us a chance to win on the weekend. which i believe will be a very good game and i believe we r good enough to win. Have faith in the boys. I believe Barge has more faith in them than you do. Fair enough dont get on here and be all cocky but dont get on here and say we wont win either. We have always had really good games against claremont.
And i do believe oz has his place in the hawks as he always seems to know all thas goin on. But that dont mean his the only one!

And how many points did we win by on the weekend, by the way yr talkin bout chop you would have though we flogged them

Fair enough dont get on here and be all cocky but dont get on here and say we wont win either.

For what it is worth, I dont recall reading a post by Oz bragging about the Central Hawks or degrading them, in fact most of Oz's posts are what his opinion is, neutral, or dare I say with a hint of satirism.

See if you can find any previous posts with Oz bragging about how good the Hawks are or bagging them flat out?

Oz's last posts involving the Barge-Ozguy Cup was only hinting that he wasn't that all confident about the Hawks beating Claremont because the pygmies are in top form at the moment - How can that be construed as saying they won't win?

Get your facts right before slagging someone from your own club off! Not good form at all:thumbsdown:
